This wood burner is bad for a couple of reasons. The main reason is that on the second thing that I tried to make, the tips wouldn’t screw in. The second reason is that the tips would loosen while you are making something. I had to use pliers to tighten the tips throughout the project. I was only able to make one ornament, before it broke. If you want to spend your money on a nice wood burner, don’t buy this one.

On the first use, the screw tip of an attachment broke off inside the attachment head. Now it's unusable 😭😫😭

I only work with hard woods, and this tool did not perform well at all. I just made lines of holes between wood veins and skipped over the very hard veins. In trying to decide what to use, I saw a video craftsman using the red hot tip wood burners, and ordered that to replace this tool. Loving it. A little more money, but it works great on walnut, oak and hickory.

I am sorry but I have not yet used the Woodburn. Because I broke my wrist.I want to do this craft as soon as I get strength in my hand. I know it will be fun and relaxing. I also bought in for my 11 year old grandson. He is very excited about learning but with my broken wrist I haven't seen him yet in Rhode Island. You will have two happy campers because we did not get the expensive ones we got the easy one. I also bought him finger protectors just in case it gets a little to warm for him.go ahead get yourself a new relaxing craft....!

This product is okay if you only plan on using it a few times. After a few uses the tips became very lose and now they do not screw in because there is no threading on the wood burner. I only made 8 coasters before the issue prohibited me from making any more.

A big part of why I chose this product over others from Amazon was because it supposedly comes with a bonus e-book. No where within the packaging is any link to download the e-book and doing a search online also does not give a link to the supposed e-book. As far as I am concerned this is blatant false advertising.

This was a present for someone who likes to work with wood and the gift was received extremely well and they stated that it was the nicest set he had seen with more extras than he knew existed. Very well received.

Works well for what its designed to do. A skilled burner can do wonders with it; however, a beginner will find the distance to the tip and where you hold it a bit difficult.
