had a problem with squirrels in the attic
had to run armored cable through the attic because the squirrels kept chewing through the cat6 data cables. this solved it. also hired a company to rodentproof the attic.

it's a regular ethernet cable in a metal jacket--nothing waterproof about it!
worse still, i returned it only to have it sent back to me in a smashed box. total write-off.
