I'm super fussy when it comes to bedding. I bought this 7.5 Tog duvet to replace a brand new 13.5 Tog duvet that I thought was going to cook me while I slept (I'm a lady of a certain age, have numerous hot flushes during the night and get hot then cold really quickly). This duvet was the perfect choice. Once in a nice, 100% cotton duvet cover it is the perfect weight and has a nice smooth feel to it. I'm really pleased that I chose this Slumberdown option over so many similar others. It meets my requirements for a comfy night's sleep perfectly!

Really happy with my new duvet. Bought to replace a dense, heavier one. Lightweight and fluffy feel. Warm on the -3 night temps we've been having over the last few nights in May and rather wonderfully I've found since using it my hot water bottle stays warm all night underneath it. That's been a nice surprise when returning from early hour bathroom visits in the cold. Didn't happen with my old duvet which was also 13.5 tog. Some detail for those of us who have fragrance sensitivities. There was a light smell, maybe scent on opening that I wasn't sure of. Aired mostly within a couple of hours outside and then washed out at first 60 temp wash. Zero scent or smell left on it. Really happy as someone with MCS with this purchase as I was able to use within 24 hours with no issue. Highly recommend.

Good quality and cosy. Not as light as I had hoped for but a great improvement on my previous one. It might be coincidence but I am sleaping a little better.

It's a bit warm for summer nights for us but we're pretty sure it will be great as the nights cool down. It seems to be the advertised tog rating and I wouldn't expect any different from a trusted brand. The duvet is bright white lightweight and has plenty of filling. The cover is nice quality. Lovely to sleep under. Size is correct for king size UK bedding. It's advertised as being suitable for a washing machine; it probably wouldn't fit in our small machine as it's king size and still quite filled, but I might be wrong as it's not been on the bed long enough to go through that. It's good to know I could trot to the launderette with it and stick it into one of their larger drums without any hassle. The pillows are pretty bog standard, not the greatest quality and likely to flatten down over time but they serve a purpose as a medium filled pillow. Nice enough to use, but we don't expect longevity. We're happy with this purchase as it ticks all the boxes and it has proven to be a very good value purchase..

Lovely duvet very competitively priced

I prefer lighter tog duvets all year round as I find greater than 8 tog duvets to be really too heavy and too warm to sleep under. The advantage of lower tog duvets is that if you need a bit more warmth, you can always add on a fleece or another blanket on top to improve the overall insulation properties. I was in need of a new duvet because my old one was a couple of years old and it was beginning to get patchy in areas. I had washed it a couple of times, in a 30° wash. I chose the slumberdown duvet because it’s a good make and it’s also made in the UK, so I’m supporting British manufacturing. I was only planning to buy the duvet but because this offer had a couple of decent pillows I chose the bundle instead. This only added about £10 to the price of the duvet and with two decent pillows it seemed a good deal. The duvet I would say is correctly rated at 4.5 tog you can see light through it but it’s nicely layered and even. There are no gaps in it. The outer cover is also got very nice soft touch to it. The duvet is 100% polyester. The pillows are very good. They are medium firmness rated and I would say that is a good assessment. I’ve had a couple of decent sleeps with these pillows and they’re not too firm. My previous pillows were soft and these are a little bit more firm. Overall, I’d recommend this bundle deal: the 4.5tog duvet and two pillows
