Is repair available
The sensors work great. I know when an animal is present on a trail. One of the sensors stopped working and would like a repair manual. Is one available ?Thanks in advanceJay J

Works but keep spare batteries in pocket.
Works pretty much as advertised. I tested one unit with 9v duracell (old but not used 9.44v) and it had a range of about 55 yards. I tested by aiming toward sun on windy day with a sheet of plastic waving in wind to cause shadows on sensor. I tested detection and I could detect myself out to 25 feet but my dog only out to about 10 feet. I tested an extra sensor with brand new 9.55 duracell and range was about 90 yards. I would like a longer signal range. I suspect on a cold morning battery voltage will drop the range so keep it at 50 yards or less to be sure otherwise maybe put a handwarmer pad on top of battery on cold mornings. Vibration just right, not loud enough to spook anything within 10 yards I guess.

Works well
This motion sensor does very well for the price. I can get about 80-100 meters between the sensors and the receiver with out issue. I have also used it indoors and the sensors do remarkably well still sending the signal through the building out of line of sight. Only issue I have noticed, is the receiver itself eats through AAA batteries like crazy and if you aren't getting the sensors to go off, chances are if you replace the receiver's batteries they will work perfectly again.

Not bad but please read on, yes the designers too!
I have had mine with three sensors for 2 years. I use it to monitor the areas around my home including driveway entrance. It has worked well, I have detected alot of critters moving in the nite. I know when a car comes down my driveway. Once in a great while it appears to have a mind of it’s own.I would replace batterys with new and clean battery terminals to get it back performing as normal. I feel since it is designed to be an outdoor devise that a more all weather design with a moisture proof battery box that was easier to get the 9V battery installed would make the device near perfect.Lastly I had a problem with spider making a home inside on of the sensors. I discovered this problem when a sensor stopped working.I completely disassembled the sensor and found that the very small wires soldered to the pc board had broken off. It was caused by the damn spiders moving past the wires a half a million times!! Also the entire inside of the sensor was filled with a spider nest. A real PIA to clean out.I resoldered the hair thin wire to the pc board and all is good. The spiders can easily get into the electronics of the sensor and enjoy a roof over their heads! So back to the waterproofing subject. TIGHTEN UP THESE UNITS TO KEEP OUT MOISTURE AND SPIDERS.DM

Motion detector
This a great item for monitoring movement not just animals. It is very durable and very sense. One can use this for helping to monitor movement of people who are not to be moving by them self and want listen to you when you have to leave the room to get something.

Save your money
The only reason I gave one star is because it was necessary to leave the review. One word describes this product: JUNK. I ordered 2; one for myself and one for a friend. The results were exactly the same. It has a mind of its own, and usually that mind is sleeping. It goes off when it wants to and where it wants to. I had the blue light flash once. The only problem was that I never set up that sensor to flash. I watched 4 doe feed directly in front of it for 15 min. Never went off. They left. It then went off a couple hrs later with nothing near it! Set in vibration mode, and 1/2 of the time it blinks with no vibration.....only know this because I would quickly move in front of it to test it. Save your money!

great idea
I can't believe this wasn't out there a long time ago. My early warning gear was a string a tin can and a few rocks. this is much better.

Bad design
I tred multiple times to get the battery into the unit but there is not enough room to work in. I had to take the unit apart with a screw driver and barley got the batteries in its so tight there is not enough room for the battery and the wires/connector. I finally got them in but had to pinch the battery terminal wires and they are thin so i hope they are not damaged i tested the motion sensors they seem to work fine and the sync process was pretty easy if you read the directions first. All the parts are cheaply made from china plastic and could easily break. If i had to buy these again i would not. If the designer would of just put the battery box on the bottom instead of the top it would of made it so much easier to get these up and running.
