Would give 10 stars if I could. This over-the-door hanger is brilliant! Got it for my mum who is elderly and has mobility limitations. I looked for something like this for a week before finding this very perfect item. I purchased the hanger itself, which comes with one extension hook, and I ordered 3 more extension hooks separately. The over-the-door hanger slips right over her closet door, it's nice and secure, and with the 4 extension hooks, my mum can now hang and remove her clothes, purse, necklaces, etc., with ease. She feels way more independent and this is worth the price alone! Unit is sleek and chrome-shiny, nice to look at. Very sturdy. And the best part is that one can still use the higher hooks, thus tripling the potential space to hand items. Love it! Going to buy mum another. You will be pleased.

READ THE DESCRIPTION! This does not fit a door with a thickness of more than 1 1/2".My 1st disappointment that is of my own doing. The rest is the product. As one reviewer stated, the item was bent so it does say flat or flush with the door. Mine was that way as well. I had to bend it so it would lay "mostly" flush.The other disappointment that since it's clearly NOT for an exterior door, it should have some padding in the hook that attaches to the door so it doesn't scratch up your door. As you can see, I have white interior doors that it would have scratched up, but I went ahead and applied some felt to points of contact with the door. For this price, what are a few strips of padding?That leads me to say at this price, I should not have to bend and twist it back into shape, nor should I have to apply my own felt protectors.It is a pretty chrome is the only good thing I do have to say. Whether it will just, I do not know. I kept it since finding a use for it outweighted having to box it up and return it. Anyway, I put it on the inside of my son's closet.

I really like this over the door hook set because I can extend it low enough to hang things up without strain. Helpful for shorties like me! I give it a four, not a five, because I would have liked to find a set that was a bit more substantial and to have padding that would ensure it won't scratch my door. No problem having the door close, though.

A must have for elementary aged kids! I have now damaged my walls twice! Once with a heavy duty anchors- in-the-wall system with hooks and then with a heavy duty 3M hook system. Both concepts did not last. I am so glad I came across this! The extension height is perfect for kids to hang heavy backpacks and I don't have to worry about wall damage. The higher hooks work for the kids' baseball hats, umbrellas, etc. I have twins, so I purchased extra hooks so that each boy has a extension hook for their coat and one for their backpack. Beyond happy to have found a solution that wont damage my walls again! Highly recommend! NO HARDWARE needed.

I bought it because of the extension hook. All interior doors in my house are 8ft high. Any hooks on a regular door hanger will therefore be higher on my 8ft door than on a "regular" 6' 8" door. The extension hook is exactly what I needed at my house so that I can reach the hook itself. I was also pleased to see that the extension hook itself does not touch/scrape the door when it is hanging. I (incorrectly) assumed that the extension hook will be somewhat loosely hanging and touching and scraping the door as a result, but that is NOT the case, which is great. I already placed 2 more orders!

I must have read the length and width incorrectly. I really need something a few inches longer, but I searched everywhere and it just doesn't exist. I thought the extender would help, but it's pretty useless once you hang stuff on the second height, and I just can't reach the first height.

This is the second one I buy, it works perfect for my kid's closet and for the bathroom. He can reach out without any help.The costumer service was amazing when I got one without the extension, they sent a replacement super fast and reached out to make sure that everything was ok with the new one that I received. Will be coming back to get one more

I would have given 5 stars but the extra extension hook did not arrive and I have to waste time emailing for the item.
