Just buy it
The hood isn't quite as nice or fits quite as well as the Olympus original hoods, but for the price they're just fine. So why am I giving it a solid 5 stars? I took my camera on vacation, and while I was messing with my camera bag my precious 45mm lens fell out and hit the concrete pretty hard, hard enough to send the lens cap flying. The lens hood was on in the reverse position. The hood was badly scratched, and it doesn't fit quite right anymore but it performed perhaps its most important duty: it saved my lens. The hood got messed up but the lens doesn't have even the slightest of marks on it. Although the plastic of the hood feels cheap, it does have some flexibility so it just got marked up, it didn't shatter or crack or anything. I couldn't be happier considering the alternative.

Works well & nice that it’s reversible. Wish fit was a little tighter… seems a tiny bit loose, otherwise works well & well made.

Low quality insecure bayonet mount
The shape and size of this lens hood is fine, but the design of the bayonet clip is poor. It does not snap into place smoothly on the lens. The bayonet clip is too small and fragile by design, does not go on smoothy, and wobbles while in position. It does not attach quickly and smoothly. It must be slowly and carefully attached to get it to stay in place at all. In the reversed position for storage it is held very loosely and falls off when putting it into the camera bag. While the purchase price was low, it is not a good value. I've only had it about a week but am already frustrated with its deficiencies.

Only obvious difference from OEM is bargain price.
Fits Olympus 45mm f1.8 correctly, reverses for storage and accepts 37mm lens cap supplied with lens.

El parasol se adapta perfectamente al objetivo para que lo solicite el 45 mm de olympus para 4/3. No provoca viñeteado y permite evitar reflejos en la lente en muchas ocasiones. Un buena compra , lo recomiendo
