I could see a difference in my nails within seven days

I’ve had issues with telogen effluvium type hair loss, on and off, for approximately 15 years - my hair growth cycle becomes dysregulated, and sometimes a significant proportion just… falls out. It had been stuck in this pattern for a few months (worst bout yet,) and although no other supplements have seemed to have any impact during these cycles in the past, I decided to take the data on hydrolyzed keratin in TE seriously and give this a try. I’m taking two grams (four times the bottle’s suggested dose) daily, and within the first two weeks, the hair loss had basically stopped, and I’ve also noticed my fingernails growing much faster than usual (albeit my usual rate is very slow.) if you have telogen effluvium, you might want to give this a try. If you already have normal hair, I’m not convinced this would have much benefit.

I have super brittle nails and lot of hair loss from recent surgery. Supplementing with this to mainly help grow my nails stronger. I have bought this several times now, but so far have not had a major improvement in the strength of nails. The pills are quite large and have a super disgusting fish smell. However, I found out that putting the pills in my daily organizer lets them "air" out the fishy smell making them more neutral. My doctor recommended to take this supplement for at least 3 months (1 a day) before I would see an improvement in the strength of my nails. This is my second bottle and I am just about at a 3 month mark now. Will update at the end of the bottle when I will make a decision if I will repurchase another one.

I have been taking these for nail growth. I previously ordered a different brand, but they were so hard to swallow because they were unusually buoyant. These are a lot easier to swallow.
