Can you slide in ice hockey goalie pads to practice butterflies and other drills?

I do not own ice hockey goallie pads as I am not an ice hockey player, I am a figure skater and bought this hoping that I could practice on this at home, but when it arrived, I opened it and immediately realised that it wouldn’t work as it is not very slippy and the writing on the front sticks out which could potentially scratch and ruin my blades.

Use it with an inline puck or green biscuit. an ice puck is laggy and sticky on it. its best when you put furniture polish on them
