Product is better than expected. It has a pleasant smell and, while the jar is quite small, it is filled to the top. It doesn't leave a white cast when applied and applies relatively smoothly with no stickiness. I can't, however, vouch for how good it is as sun protection, mainly because of the current weather, but if it doesn't work come summer this review will be updated. As of now, it feels hydrating and suits my needs. I was sceptical that beef tallow would be good for the skin but so far it doesn't seem to be having any negative impacts. The cream is light and simple and seems to be a good value for money. It has only lost a star due to the misleading product size, though I still think it will last a long time. Overall does the job and is a nice cream, if a little unusual.

I’ve been using this sunscreen during outdoor activities and it has worked really well so far. The formula feels nourishing on the skin thanks to the tallow and doesn’t dry out my face like some mineral sunscreens can. It provides good coverage and protection while still feeling comfortable to wear throughout the day. I also appreciate that it’s suitable for both face and body, which makes it convenient to carry just one product. The clean ingredient list and non-toxic formula were the main reasons I chose it, and it’s been a solid addition to my skincare routine.

If you use beef tallow moisturizing products then you will know they are really good for reducing dryness and the accompanying tightness whilst also offering deep nourishment to the skin. Here you have all these properties but in an unscented sunscreen. Sounds a good idea doesn't it unless you are vegan of course! However, there are some serious concerns here most obviously the fact that nowhere on the box or jar does it say in small letters or big what the SPF number is-without this crucial data the cream has no real credibility. Secondly there are is a huge list of extra ingredients which are not mentioned in the product description which only talks about tallow (which is there) and non nano zinc oxide. Indeed the mismatch between the product description and data on the box is striking and rather disturbing. The idea behind this marriage of tallow and sun cream is a good one-the presentation of this particular one poor.

This product smells nice and is lovely to use. Skin feels soft and I like knowing i have the protection of spf 50. However, I'm not sure how natural the ingridients are. There was a lot that looks a bit chemically to me (I'm not an expert) so if you're looking for something truly organic this probably isnt it. May be best to research the ingridients before hand.

I ordered this out of curiosity more than anything, as I’d never tried a tallow-based sunscreen before. After a few uses, I’ve actually been quite impressed with it. The texture is a bit thick but it does rub in nicely. It goes on smoothly and feels nourishing rather than greasy, especially on dry skin. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, I didn’t find it left any marks once it was properly rubbed in. I’ve mainly used it on my face and arms for short periods outdoors and it’s been comfortable to wear, with no irritation. It is quite rich, so a little goes a long way. I can't really comment on how well it actually protects from sun but it seems to give some protection. Overall, it’s a bit different from mainstream sunscreens but in a good way. If you like more natural formulas and don’t mind a thicker cream, this is well worth trying. I’m glad I ordered it and would use it again.
