Garnier Hair Color Nutrisse Ultra Color Nourishing Creme, B3 Golden Brown (Spiced Rum) Permanent Hair Dye, 1 Count (Packaging May Vary)

I've used this brand before but it was way cheaper here than Target. I got golden brown and love it for two reasons: 1) It's Garnier. I've only used Garnier hair dye products because it doesn't dry out my hair or make me break out in split ends like others have. 2) The color actually came out! I have jet black hair but medications I've been on recently had me sprouting white hairs so I decided to dye my hair a nice warm brown that would complement my honey-toned skin. Color came out gorgeous and the fact that you can actually see the brown (other colors never came out with my strong black hair) was HUGE for me. It looks so nice, some strands came out even more golden so it looks like I even got highlights. My roots began to show which isn't really a bad thing because now I got the whole hombre look going on! Except I didn't have to pay over $200 for it. So this dye is PERFECT and even when my own hair starts to grow out, it becomes even more complimentary!

I started with level 4 brown hair, coarse with low porosity. When I got out of the shower, I was disappointed because it looked like I had obvious hot roots. But once I dried my hair, that wasn't the case at all! The color was even, and looked exactly as it was on the box. My hair doesn't feel damaged at all. Sadly though, this hue looks too orange against my complexion (fair olive skin, blue eyes). So I'll be putting semi-permanent dye over it to correct that.

Love it, arrived on time and color came out great. I have dark brown hair and it’s now light brown!

This is my first time dying my hair! First four photos are after, very last photo is before. I started with dark brown hair and ended up with medium brown hair. I have very thick hip-length hair so I used two boxes and kept it on extra long (2x time) and waited a long time before putting any dye on my roots. With the dye cream still on, my roots became clearly colored while the rest of my hair still looked dark but I’m glad that when I cleaned it and dried it fully, the color was everywhere. But it is a bit lighter at my roots still and not perfectly even, but I don’t think it’s noticeable. If anything it might add some nice natural variance similar to highlights. This color is great for bringing out the gold in my eyes and just making my hair look more cute instead of being such a harsh contrast against my pale skin. It has a gorgeous shine (see photos in the sunlight!). My hair is naturally curly, mostly forming S waves, and is very thick and strong. I had the dye on for about twice as long as directed, and I’m glad I did. I would suggest using a hair dryer to make your hair warm while the dye is on because that will help it process more fully like my roots. I would’ve done more time but worried that my roots would be more damaged since they processed already. Luckily all is well and I have no breakage or issues. I used lots of conditioner afterwards. I did this last night, so I can’t say how long it’ll last. My hair instantly became clumpy when I applied the dye so it was difficult to work through, even though my hair was unwashed for a week and completely thoroughly brushed. My hair re-tangles pretty easily though, especially if I’m moving it around too much trying to style it. My hair is very grippy already so I was not too surprised. Just keep that in mind when you apply the dye. You may need to squeeze and work it in. If I had to start over, I’d try three boxes (because I have sooo much hair) and use a hair dryer the whole time (for heat to make it process) and wait until my hair was visibly colored before applying it to my roots since that last part goes so fast. Afterwards, I used a flat iron for a while to try straightening my hair but after an hour I gave up because my hair is so thick and textured and I don’t have enough practice or patience with the flat iron. Hence, my hair looks pretty straight in the photos but that’s not fully representative of my hair type. I hope this helped!

I can’t find this color in my local stores anymore so I purchase from here. I use 2 boxes at one time. The price is comparable to what I would pay anywhere else… but it gets delivered to my door step. Great brand, great product, great price.

Did nothing to my black hair. Ill now have to bleach it to get it any lighter. Don't recommend

It took more than one session between months to obtain the intended color, not meant for dark brown or black hair.

I actually really like the color! I admittedly didn't read the description well before ordering it and just liked the color, so I bought it. My natural hair is more of a medium brown and I'm used to hair dyes adding color to my hair, but not really lightening it. I didn't realize that this product is actually meant to LIGHTEN darker hair! But again, I really like the color and did Subscribe and Save, so I'll likely be sticking with this color for awhile. :) As a reference, my hair had been about the color of the top sample color on the side before dying - and it came out to look pretty much the color that it showed that it would. I dye mostly to cover gray roots.

j'avais acheté ce produit pour m'éclaircir les cheveux comme sur la boite sauf que :ça éclaircit beaucoup les racine et tres légèrement le reste des cheveux.Je conseillerais plutôt un effaceur de couleur et choisir ensuite la couleur que l'on veut pour un meilleur résultat.
