Amazing Ryzen 9 270 Laptop
Given the price point, I can say it is the cheapest ryzen 9, 32GB RAM laptop I could find. Apart from the low price, it's absolutely great. It's snappy, the screen is WQXGA, not WUXGA, so higher resolution than advertised, IR login camera, and big mousepad. I checked the specs and it really is a Ryzen 9 270 CPU with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD, from Micron. The CPU is still a performant choice and the inbuilt GPU can handle light gaming very easily. I was very pleasantly impressed by the laptop and recommend it at its price point.

Gem of a laptop
Great little laptop, can throw anything at it and it doesn't miss a beat. The battery life is great when watching YouTube or say Netflix, but while gaming this does drain it quite quickly. The screen is great and watching movies on it while on the train is ideal as the size a weight are perfect.

ASUS Vivobook S14 Metal Laptop - Ryzen 9 270, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD
I recently bought this laptop, and since then I cannot stop using it. Annoyingly I got this a day before the prime sale where it reduced by ยฃ100, nevertheless it's still worth every penny. Fast processor in the Ryzen 9 270, accompanied with 32GB of RAM makes it a highly powerful machine, especially for the price of it. It loads up in a matter of seconds and even comes with face ID which I did not expect. The battery life is very good, especially on lower power mode it lasts hours upon hours, so if you are a student like myself and have high workloads away from home, this laptop is a great fit. The build quality is also fantastic, being metal its openable with one hand and is sturdy. The screen is the perfect size for portability, and the resolution is 2.5k, 1440p+ which is amazing quality, its very clear. A couple things I would change is the refresh rate. Being capped at 60Hz is fine and is great, but when you are used to higher refresh rates like myself it does look ever so slightly "less smooth", but it is absolutely manageable and not that big a problem. Another thing is the sound from the laptop itself, its good quality but could be doing with slightly louder speakers. This also is manageable as certain software apps such as "FxSound" are available on google and boost the sound rather nicely. But for at home use the sound is fine provided the background noise is not too bad. As I said, just download the software and it is fine. Overall, its a great laptop and I would recommend this to students, personal use and for work.

Great laptop, settings need changed on first boot to get the most out of it.
Great laptop, excellent specs with the32GB Ram, AMD Ryzen 7 270, 1tb ssd. Runs like a dream, uninstalled all the ASUS stuff that comes on it, changed the power plan as its default is balanced. Decent battery life, number ports for things like HDMI, USB and USB C, great dark grey colour too. Handles all my programming with no hiccups or issues. Would highly recommend for the creative types.

Microslop OFF... CachyOS ON
Love this laptop. It plays nice with Linux (CachyOS in my case) and everything works on boot. I wish manufacturers would stop defaulting to Microslop Windows. I'm using KDE Plasma for desktop and even charge control is built in so I can limit charging to 65% and keep my battery happy without having to (un)plug all the time. Steam/Proton/Emulation all fantastic (obviously within the confines of 780M graphics). The only thing missing is AMD's FreeSync. Maybe that's a Linux and/or CachyOS thing... but just lower any graphics settings for triple A games so it meets the 60Hz panel's refresh rate. (Btw - If you're using CachyOS, lookup ZRAM. It allocates all memory by default which is overkill and actually reduces RAM performance. Most folk can lower that to 4GB and keep the rest as normal RAM)

A really nice spec laptop at a rare bargain price at this day and age
I am really happy with this laptop and it is my daily driver now. It is snappy for daily tasks and capable of 1080p gaming at low to medium quality. 32 GB of RAM gives a lot of headroom for daily tasks and gaming. It is even sufficient for running lightweight local LLMs. Running CachyOS perfectly without driver issues. However, there are a few things that is a bit disappointing: - The USB C ports are combine ports (PD + DisplayLink + USB) that only supports up to 5gbps (USB 3.0). It is not USB 4 as advertised on the image. That's for the ARM model instead. - The USB C ports are only on the left side, which could be tricky to charge if your power plug is on the right hand side - The screen only supports up to 60Hz
