I bought this as a cheap temporary case. BUT, it is still used today after all these years, why? Light, it is light, adds hardly nothing to hold and use. Durable, as a living room tablet case, it doesn’t have to be concerned with dropping on rocky surface or rained on, but for indoor use it is plenty durable and didn’t yellow like most others. The clear finish also helps aesthetically and it is not getting old. I have used many different types of cases as I use 2 iPads and 3 Galaxy tablets at the moment for all different functionalities, I am liking this simple case and clear look.

I'm not sure why cases for this tablet are so scarce considering that it has been out for over a month now. But, this case was just what I needed: a simple rubber case that kept the tablet from scratches and dinks as I held it naturally for web-surfing and reading. It has a snug fit too, and one that's not so strong that you feel like you're going to break it when you try to remove it. I wouldn't put my confidence in protecting the tablet from drops, as the Tab S4 is heavy, but then again I would say the same thing for any case.

This is a great minimalist case. This is the perfect case to sit on the couch and use my tablet. I have included images of how the access to plug into the tablet is not blocked by the case. The case provides a simple but effective surface that improves grip without a lot of weight.

I keep it in a little tablet bag with a zipper travel. I will take previous reviewers word that this does not offer drop protection. I certainly wouldn't recommend drop testing it. This is most definitely NOT a case for kids use. Picking the tablet up will bend the edges easily. But the material is sturdy enough that I can pinch it from that lifted up portion and shake the tablet without it coming out. It is easy to put on and take off, but it requires just enough more than casual effort to get the tablet to release from all four corners. In other words you have to deliberately remove the case. It's sleek and doesn't increase the tablet's profile by much.

... and can tell you that this is perfect! No added bulk, weight, side switches are easily accessible, cut-outs are in all the right places. If yours aren't, you chose the wrong case. The tablet, by itself, is very slippery, this takes care of that! You still need to be careful not to drop it, there is no edge protection, I got it to help prevent its slipping from my hands in a safe environment, on the sofa, in bed, etc. Used with common sense, you'll be happy with this tablet cover.

Pros: - The case looks good. - Matte inside to prevent bubbles. Cons: -Fits just a little too loose. - The holes on the side for the smart connector are useless and make the case less sturdy. You can't use accessories that require the use of the smart connectors with this case on anyways - The edges of the case feel flimsy so when you grip it (mostly because of the cutouts), make sure you have a good grip on the actual bezel of the tablet or you might drop it. -Smart connector gets dirty due to the useless cutouts on the side so whenever I connect to my keyboard case, the pins disconnect sometimes and I have to clean them. (covered the holes with tape, problem solved for now) Someone make this same case without the three useless cutouts for the smart connector and make it just a little more sturdy and I'll buy it for twice the price.

This case is just what I was looking for. It gives some protection, and is thin enough to put in a keyboard case. Makes it less slick, protects the glass on the back, and just makes me feel a little more confident holding it.

I actually LOVE this! I have let my teen use it. Then I took it back. Then I let my dad use it. Then I took it back. Then I started to prep it for resale. Then I decided not to sell (I have done this 3 times now). I think its safe to say, I'll be keeping it! What keeps bringing me back? Not dex. Thats for sure. Its the tablet GUI that keeps me, and the size, durability, and ability to write using the stylus. I also have a Microsoft Surface Pro, which has spoiled me in the 2-in-one laptop/tablet world. My samsung requires the keyboard case to operate dex (the laptop part), and dex is not so user friendly. I also cant get to my military sites without using additional software and hardware. This is why I was so ambivalent about keeping the Samsung. However, the more I use it, the more I love it as a civilian daily use tablet.
