I have a pretty wide range of ear buds, and audio gear. I have everything from your basic bare minimum 10 dollar wired buds, all the way up to high end professional studio audio gear for producing and editing. And have a decent collection of wireless buds of different ranges and performance tiers too. I do have other buds from this brand as well, so I am familiar with the quality and had a good idea of what to expect in some regards as well as with regards to the app. I like this for being what I'd consider a reasonably balanced generalist set. I like them for my day to day casual use. They aren't competing with my high end gear for editing, producing, or entertainment needs. But they also have better battery life than the wireless kits that might be better suited for those purposes. But these are also much nicer to listen to and better balanced than a lot of the super casual sets I have. For me these are a happy kind of casual middle ground in that they are comfortable for me to wear for extended periods, they have the battery life to get through longer stretches (Especially with the case factored in), and they have a pretty reasonably balanced sound quality that allows me to enjoy my music, a show, a podcast, a call, or whatever the day brings up while I'm not sitting down and focused on one particular thing. For my needs, they are a useful generalist workhorse. They get me through the day. They sound good with everything I use them for and I can hear clearly. I don't need them to be the best at one particular thing, they're useful to me because they're decent at a bunch of things. And I don't get easily fatigued wearing them. Build quality is good. Case looks nice. I like the look and feel, and appreciate the sound quality. Where they fall short for me is with the app. It's not really an app that incentivizes me to want to use it. The app experience seems to be a roll of the dice, and isn't the best design. There are so many variables and personal preferences and such at play when rating earbuds.. One persons favorite, is another persons least favorite. All I can say, is that I'm happy with these, and feel they are better rounded and better performing than a lot of the other buds I have at a comparable tier/range to these. So they feel like a good pick-up in my books, and for my particular use case. Likes: - Find them quite comfortable to wear for lengthy periods. - Great sound quality for casual general use. Sometimes watching something, or listening to podcasts/music etc while multi-tasking. - Good battery life & charging for more sustainability. - Quick charge time with generous battery time when the case is factored in. - Look great. - Nice charging case. Dislikes: - They aren't really going to compete with my high end audio gear or my premium buds for audio quality when editing, gaming, or listening to high quality audio. But they are a fantastic generalist performer.

These buds are very easy to use and are comfortable to wear. They have very good sound. The buds took only seconds to pair up with my S10 phone and connect just as quick. Very pleased with these buds.

These are fairly decent budget earbuds with some advanced features that seem reasonably well-made and for the most part works just fine without issues; however, despite the fact they have some additional features that other budget earbuds at this price range don't necessarily have, none of those features actually standout to me although that's not entirely unexpected given what I've seen. That said, I do appreciate the fact that they have some of the advanced features such as 4x mic, multilink (2), ANC (FF), transparency mode, and game/low-latency mode etc., but they also lack a few others (i.e. IR, tactile/auditory response, digital LED display, and Qi wireless charging). Granted, it'd probably be asking too much to include them all but I'd really like to see digital display since that's just so much more convenient and easier to know exactly what the state of the battery is and how much capacity is left. It doesn't even have 3 or 4 dots for battery display; it only has ONE, and that's just wrong in my mind at this point in time. ≡ Auto-pairing To start with, like most others these will immediately pair with your phone/devices (assuming it's been paired previously) as soon as the case is opened without even taking the earbuds out which I find quite annoying but perhaps someone prefers this. They will automatically pair to the last device as soon as the lid is open of which I'm not a big fan and only disconnect when the lid is closed. ≡ Sound quality The sound quality in general is just average (or slightly above average); reasonably clear and crisp for highs/mids for the most part. However, its bass is just plain average so if that's what you are looking for primarily, look elsewhere (and you aren't gonna find anything interesting here). Furthermore, its volume is considered low at max setting in comparison to some others although I don't necessarily turn it all the way to the max but if you are looking for something 'loud', well, this ain't it either. In short, the sound quality is decent considering their price tag; however, in the grand scheme of things, they are very average as anticipated. ✘ Mics While they're slightly above average for listening to music or the like, the mics and their performance is slightly less than stellar by comparison. During the test I was told by the receiving end that my voice sounded a bit muffled sometimes and seemed far away from the mic, and it is somewhat 'unclear' from their perspective comparing to another pair used (as control) in a moderately noisy environment (with fans on and some background noise, as tests). I should also mention that this is with ANC on but as we know, feedforward ANC does nothing to improve the sound quality of the as it's being transmitted to the other end; it only tries to cancels out noise picked up by the 2nd mic so that the wearer wouldn't hear them. As such, these aren't really great for voice calls in a relatively noisy environment because the recipient will likely either hear everything that's going on in your surroundings (i.e. noise and all) or very little of everything including your voice (i.e. software base noise cancellation at your end, e.g. from the meeting or phone apps that you use to make the call). Btw, if you are wondering what would improve the sound quality for the other part on the call, there are a few others but in general cVc 8.0 is what's common. So, if you will be having voice calls regularly in a noisy environment, look for earbuds with that feature (and ANC for the sake of the wearer's as well). ✔ Comfort As for comfort, they are amongst some of the better ones for me personally and they're fairly comfortable after roughly 2 hrs of continuous use so that's good; however, the fit isn't exactly great because they seem a bit too loose for my liking although the larger tips seem to have help a bit. They are really light and I almost forget they are there. They also have slightly shorter stem in comparison to most others which I'm not exactly a big fan of for earbuds with smooth surface such as these because they're just not that easy handle at times. It would've been better if the stem has a textured surface though; better yet, the area to where the touch control is sensitive should REALLY have a textured surface so I know exactly where to tap. ✘ Battery Each earbud lasted for about 6.8 hrs (just shy of that actually) music listening which is noticeably below the advertised 10 hrs and unfortunately that's quite common (i.e. overinflated runtime) across the board for earbuds nowadays. It lasted significantly less (just under 5.2 hrs) for voice calls but that's expected (compared to its runtime for music listening) since voice calls generally consumes more power than music listening alone. It's not clear to me what the battery capacity is for the earbuds but the case is rated at 400 mAh/1.48 Wh although it's not advertised here (but it's printed underneath the cover); therefore, my guess is that these earbuds have a capacity of 40 mAh or thereabouts. ≡ Other features Feature wise, they do have some advanced features (to what degree they work is a different topic altogether though) such as ANC (feedback), transparency mode, and game/low latency mode (80 ms); however, as aforementioned, they don't have digital LED display for the battery capacity which I believe they REALLY should have at this point in time. A 4- or 5-dot is simply outdated and a single dot is just SAD. They also support multilink/multipoint with up to 2 devices, which is decent (and a bit surprising actually). The ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) can be activated via a long (1.5 sec) tap at the left earbud and it will cycle through all 4 modes; normal (default), ANC, transparency mode, and game mode, each time you long tap it. Note that ANC and transparency modes can ONLY be activated when BOTH earbuds are in use; the game mode can be activated when a single (left) earbud is in use by itself. The ANC mode works reasonably well given the circumstances and it's able to filter the vast majority of the background noise especially those with higher frequencies (and being predictable, i.e. fan whine), but its ability to filter out lower frequency sounds is somewhat lacking. However, this is not (again) entirely unexpected since feedforward ANC usually works better with higher frequency noise. As for transparency mode; the transparency mode works moderately well but it also creates a static noise of its own such that there is a consistent and constant background white noise whenever transparency mode is being activated; not exactly pleasant but it's not a deal breaker for me in the grand scheme of things. Game/low latency mode also works reasonably well although I have no way to actually measure their claims but some quick tests do show that it's at least within 150 ms. It's not advertised as to exactly what low latency codec is used and my guess is that the advertised 80 ms is probably exaggerated based on what I've seen. Btw, it supports ONLY SBC codec despite the fact that it's supposed to support AAC as well but I couldn't get it to work with AAC, so take what you will from that. The charging case draws about 0.3A via during a quick test (it was at least 75% full though). In addition, they also have decent touch control and it's amongst some of the better and more responsive for me in comparison (although some form of tactile/auditory response would've been better) to a few others. I think tactile/auditory response is a design ALL earbuds utilizing touch control should have to improve user experiences. ≡ Value All things considered, they are reasonably decent budget earbuds with respect to the slightly above average sound quality; however, these aren't exactly designed for voice calls especially in a noisy environment. Having said that, they do have some advanced features that most other earbuds at this price range don't have, such as ANC (FF), transparency mode, and game/low latency mode. They also multilink that few other budget earbuds have; however, the lack of a digital LED display is a real disappointment for me and it would've made these that much better to have a digital LED display that many other cheaper earbuds do have. That said, they're still amongst some of the more cost effective at this price point given what they offer in terms of features and overall sound quality. As such, if you're really tight on budget and looking for some reasonably decent earbuds with some advanced features such as ANC, game and transparency modes, perhaps give these a shot (again, knowing that these ARE budget earbuds). They are somewhat reasonably priced at $33 for what they provide and overall build quality (typical), features, usability, versatility, and performance. Your mileage might vary.
