I purchased this in September of 2025. Here is my honest review! I had suffered with broken sleep, waking myself up snoring and generally feeling exhausted for years. I have tried several products and found little to no relief. After using this every single night for 8 1/2 months here is what I’ve found. Pros: Most importantly, it helped with my snoring starting the very first Night It fits well if molded correctly and has only fallen out twice in the time I’ve used it. It has absolutely improved my quality of sleep 100%. I have become so reliant on it, I even use it if I take a quick nap. Without it, I will wake myself up from snoring almost instantaneous. It is fairly easy to adjust. It took a few nights to figure out the right setting but once you do, it is great! Keeping the device clean is very easy. When I wake up, I place it in a cup with diluted mouthwash. This keeps it clean and disinfected. It’s always fresh and ready for me at bedtime. I told my dentist about it and he said that it was actually helping prevent me grinding my teeth at night, which was an added bonus. Cons: It takes a couple of weeks to get used to the tension on your teeth. I did notice some slight movement in my bite and stiffness in my jaw. Typically if I exercise my jaw back and forth, up and down a little in the morning everything is good to go. The design tends to lead to a very dry mouth since your lips aren’t sealed shut all night. It’s a small price to pay for the added quality of sleep. The pros well outweigh the cons for me personally. I literally can’t sleep without it!

Device severely obstruct air flow. I could not keep it in my mouth even for 1 min: I started feeling shortness of breath. I cannot say how it is efficient for snoring reduction, I did not come to this point yet. I knew about Amazon no-return policy on medical devices, decided to take a risk based on reviews. I missed. Device has proper disclosure at the bottom, however, the fact that it cannot be used if you have central apnea must be highlighted in the title. I understand now why: it may reduce snoring and blood oxygen at the same time

I bought the Silent Z Pro 2.0 after trying several other anti-snoring mouthpieces, and this one is by far the best. From the very first night I noticed a huge difference. My partner has confirmed I’m much quieter now, and I wake up feeling more rested. I’ve been using it every single night for almost a month and it’s still in perfect condition. If you snore or your partner snores, I highly recommend this. It’s worth every penny. The fit is poor. Some have said its only too small if you have a small mouth. I wasn't worried as I have a large mouth. However, the problem is the width of plastic between where your teeth go and where your lips go. This is simply too thick, and so it sorta uncomfortably pushes my lips forward. An additional aspect of the discomfort is that if my tongue goes forward, it blocks the holes that allow for mouth breathing....yet, that seems to not be an issue for me. Does it work? Yeah, it does. My wife has always said that I snore really loudly for the first hour or so after I go to sleep. Some nights are worse if I have congestion. Anyway with this mouthguard in, that snoring is *much* softer and doesn't prevent her from sleeping. But here's the strange part: I've yet to have it in an entire night. First night I grew frustrated with it, and took it out. I knew it would take some time to adjust, so I continued using it. Every night since, I have woken at some point to find the mouthpiece is out of my mouth....without me having removed it. Just comes out or maybe I subconsciously spit it out? I dunno. Possibly I could adjust the fit to account for my slight overbite and that'd fix the issue? But at any rate it does not seem to matter because I don't resume bothering my wife with my snoring after it comes out. So no harm, no foul? Thus a very rare 3-star review for this thing. Seems for most its either a 5-star miracle or a 1-star waste.

Update to review below: The large device was too large for my mouth. After receiving and molding the smaller device, I found that it fit perfectly and was comfortable to wear throughout the entire night. When I wake up from a sleep while wearing it, I feel more rested and ready to face my day. As you can read below I believed I had properly measured my mouth dimensions prior to ordering the large unit. I’m an average guy with average jaw and mouth. The small device fits me perfectly. Would recommend to others to see if it works for you. ================= I purchased the SilentZ Pro 2 in the large size, which is recommended based on the measurements provided by the manufacturer, hoping it would help reduce my snoring. The packaging was impressive, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Molding the device to fit my mouth was straightforward and hassle-free, which I appreciated. However, my experience with the device itself was disappointing even in the non-adjusted state. The large size makes it incredibly difficult to insert into the mouth, and once in, it’s nearly impossible to close my mouth comfortably. The device feels bulky and intrusive, causing significant discomfort throughout the night. After using it for just one night, I woke up with intense pain in my front teeth that lasted for several hours, which was alarming and unpleasant. While I had high hopes that the SilentZ Pro 2 would help alleviate my snoring, the pain, discomfort, and oversized design make it unbearable to use. For me, the cost of this solution is too high, and I’d rather live with the snoring than endure this device. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it due to its size, discomfort, and painful side effects. Who knows, maybe it will work for you.

I got this mouthpiece for my husband because his snoring had been getting louder and it was starting to affect both of our sleep. I used this for months with the hope that things will get better through time, but the time never came. Its only good to make your jaw move forward and try to keep you breathing better but the device has many flaws. Jaw hurts after using it an entire night and its very uncomfortable. You're going to drool uncontrollably while you sleep, as it leaves your mouth open throughout the night. Be careful with the sharp edges between the gaps of the device, they can easily make your tongue bleed. I would constantly have scratches on the sides of my tongue. As per the material, its good quality, however the clear PDA material turns white quickly after a few month use, even under good maintenance. Overall, slightly reduces snoring.

I ordered this item after my PureSleep device wore out in a week or so. This device is twenty bucks cheaper, it also offers a large mouth size, so I figured why not try it. I tried it and I hated it, the fit was bad and I almost threw it away. Then I thought about how the fitting process was different than PureSleep. So I followed the instructions for Puresleep with this device. I set the water to boil and then let the temperature drop just below boil. I put this device in for 2 minutes, I let the device cool for 15 seconds and then I bit the device for 30 seconds, finally I cooled it in water. This device now fit perfect and I'm wearing it every night. Not only that, but the device works as well as PureSleep; keeping my apnea from affecting me and letting me go into REM sleep. The original instructions don't allow the device to get hot enough and they have you cool it in water before fitting it. All that keeps the device from properly fitting to your mouth.

I do recommend the SilentZPro 2.0 I have tried a few different types in the past months and they all failed miserably. It’s good that it comes in 3 sizes. There is good amount of molding material to create a good cushion on the gums. Easy procedure to fit the mouth guard and the possibility to re mold if you didn’t get a good fit. I have been using it for a week now, it’s work well and my wife is happy now that my snoring isn’t waking her up. A win - win situation 😁
