It has gone thru Idaho windy, rainy, sleet and snow. Still holding up. Going to leave it outside all winter to protect the steel couch. We’ll see how it does.

This cover is large enough to fit a 3-seater patio sofa and provides full coverage. It does fit a bit loose—not snug and tailored like the product photos suggest—but the cinch cord along the bottom helps pull it in and keep it reasonably secure during light wind. I wouldn’t consider this “heavy duty” as described. The material feels more like a medium-duty raincoat—textured on the outside with a smooth, plastic-like interior. It should handle everyday protection from dust and rain just fine, but it doesn’t seem particularly resistant to punctures or rough use. Based on experience with similar covers for grills and lawn equipment, it may start to deteriorate after extended exposure to direct sunlight—likely within a year—but only time will tell. Overall, it’s a decent option for basic protection and a good fit for larger patio furniture, just don’t expect a tight fit or long-term durability.

Works for what I need used to bring all my outdoor cushions in when it rained now I put them all on the couch and just cover it. Easy

This waterproof outdoor sofa cover turned out to be just perfect to cover our wicker sofa on our patio. Our sofa was a just little bit smaller than the dimensions of this cover, so it fit great with a little room to spare. Of course, it was all wrinkled with fold lines from being packaged, and it didn’t look as nice and smooth as the picture on Amazon. But perhaps the wrinkles will work themselves out over time. We’re just happy that our sofa is covered and protected from dirt, dust, and the elements. We can keep it covered and just remove it in a moment to sit on our nice clean sofa underneath. The cover is a durable 600D oxford fabric and is easy to hose off and dry in the sun in the yard. The khaki color was a great match for the light beige wall color of our patio. Perfect solution for us!

I have an outdoor wicker sofa that sits under a covered patio but still always manages to catch rain. I got this cover to place on top and it's been doing a great job keeping the sofa dry! The material is advertised as waterproof, and I can confirm that the water beads up and rolls right off. Easy to use, It fits a little big but does the job just fine. It was really easy to unfurl and cover the furniture. Nice quality, durable fabric, definitely for outdoor wear and tear for long term. Worth the money and I'm very happy with the product.

I ordered this knowing it was oversized for the cushioned patio swing I wanted to protect from harsh winter weather, blistering summer sun, AND neighborhood cats looking for a nice place to lounge. I wanted the additional size to give me the flexibility to wrap the cushioned back and seat without having to separate the swing mechanism and suspension arms. It is quite large for my intended use, and is clearly intended for free-standing couches, love seats, etc., with no suspension mechanism. However, I am able to cover what needs to be covered, although the adjustable lock cord isn't that useful for me because of the mismatch in size and due to the suspension arms. But I knew that would be the case, and I am happy to be able to secure the cover properly on the swing itself with bungie cords. The 600D Oxford fabric is what I would call MEDIUM duty; I have much heavier covers for other items on the patio. It is laminated, and seems to shed water and handle snow accumulations of a foot or so. The way I have it secured, it provides full coverage and protection to the cushioned parts of the swing. The cushion can be removed, but not without partially disassembling the suspension (swing) arms, which was why I wanted to cover it instead. This works. The price is fair for the size and features, and since it covers the moving part of the swing completely, it provides the function I was looking for. My one caveat is possible durability; this item is single stitched throughout, and coupling that with fabric that is lighter weight than I was expecting makes me wonder how it will hold up to the very strong mountain downslope winds we get here three or four times each year. I may opt to remove it when one of those howlers is underway. This item will work for me, but if I had it to do over again, I might look for a smaller cover in a heavier weight and with more robust securing options. I think if you live in an area without unexpected or constant high velocity winds, this would be fine, and I can see that a fit on a large sofa would be much better than my adaptation of it to a swing. I do appreciate that it is waterproof.

I have a vintage glider of my grandmother's that I wanted to protect. It’s in between the size of a loveseat and a couch. I ordered this sofa cover to help protect it from the outdoor elements of Arkansas. The cover is intended for a sofa and is a little big for my glider. It is a well-made sturdy waterproof fabric. The description says the material is heavy duty but I would call it more of a medium to heavy thickness. It does provide protection from rain and snow and withstood the recent frequent wind that we often get in the spring. The nice part of this cover is that it has a drawstring around the bottom with an adjustable toggle closure. Even though this cover is a little big for my piece, it is secure because I can adjust and tighten the bottom. It’s not an expensive cover but it’s worth every penny to help protect my heirloom glider.

Affordable and actually waterproof! I have outdoor furniture and cushions that are subject to weather, as we don’t have a covered porch. I am able to stack my sofa cushions AND the long cushions from two chaise in this. It’s a very snug fit, but that’s because of the style of my vintage sofa. This is a great value for the cost. I have tried expensive models that soaked my cushions. This allows me to cover my furniture before bad weather and have clean dry cushions at the ready. I have experienced a slight amount of leakage at one seam when the water pooled over it, otherwise my stuff stays dry. Excellent cover for the price point, a furniture saver…it’s even lightweight enough to be easily managed during the covering & removal process.
