Queensland Blue is an Australian variety and is simply beautiful and tasty. The vigorous vine produces bluish-green, deep ribbed fruit which can grow to a weight of 6 to 10lbs each in approximately 100 days. This variety stores well and has an almost treacle like flavour when it has been roasted.

I've always been pleased with Kings Seeds. I've been growing Queensland Blue for many years. The fruits (vegetables?) are a good size, taste superb, store well if harvested correctly and just make me feel chuffed to have grown it. Highly recommended.

Update: These are very productive plants. Lots of fruit on each vine. Just made a soup and was very yummy!So far so good. Just looses a star as not all seeds germinated. :)
