C.H.I.P.S.: The Sixth and Final Season (DVD)Rev up for action adventure and zoom back to the early 1980s with CHiPs! Jumped the shark big time here.
Hmmmmm, firstly as a kid who loved CHiPs in the early UK 80s my favourite was Jon Baker (Larry Wilcox). He isn't here. He left due to the ego of Erik 'Ponch' Estrada. His (dyed blonde hair) replacement is the actor Tom Reilly as 'Bobby - Hot Dog - Nelson'. He did his best (which wasn't that good) but essentially this is now the Erik Estrada show. The first 12 episodes have Erik as the hero, sometimes completely risibly. The remaining ten I don't think poor Tom/Bobby is the hero once. Notable guest stars are the singer Laura Brannigan (Gloria), Melody Anderson (Flash Gordon fame), Lynn Holly Johnson (Bibi Dahl in For Your Eyes Only), Miguel Ferrer (Bob Morton in Robocop) and Elvira! It really is actually perversely fascinating and worth experiencing.

「ジョン&パンチ」はずっと観ていましたが「パンチ＆ボビー」は関西では放映されなかったので、このDVDで初めて観ました。 キャストが変わっているだけで内容はおなじみのパターンで、安心して観ることができました。 何よりこの価格で日本語吹き替え版が手に入るのがありがたいです。
