JHS Pedals JHS Emperor V2 Analog Chorus with Tap Tempo Guitar Effects Pedal

Really like this jhs pedal! I think it has a wide array of chorus tones that make it a really nice addition to my pedal board. Would definitely recommend.

I like everything about this pedal. The chorus side can go from subtle to thick, lush over the top sounds. From 70s to the present. The vibrato is equally versatile and most excellent. The three-way wave selector switch and the sensitivity of the controls are awesome for dialing in your perfect sound or experimenting for days. A worthy addition to any pedal board, professional or hobbyist. Thanks JHS!

Its a nice sounding chorus but I took one star off because unless I run it in stereo it is too subtle even at max depth.

Nice sounding chorus and vibrato pedal. The expression input is a plus, and having a volume control is ideal.

Emperor is fantastic. Simple operations and love the tap tempo option. The variety of wave types get you to some interesting territory for chorus. Quality you would expect from JHS.

I'm a fan of chorus effects in general, and this one is great. It has a classic chorus sound, a classic vibrato sound, plus some user-friendly features added. Tap tempo is handy for changing it up during a performance. I haven't needed the external control feature yet. I appreciate the added tone control, even if it's usually at roughly 50%. The biggest added feature is the volume control. No more struggling to work with a volume drop when you engage the effect! Oh, and I love the color and penguin.

Great pedal. Very versatile. I use it primarily in a church setting.
