It works and it's a bargain!
It is highly rated on line by security specialists. It is a bargain compared to the alternatives. It works.

worked well; for a time!
this is my second purchase of theses pouches. I find them to be a good size thus enabling easy retrieval of the fob, a nice and bright colour so easy to find, they block the signal very well initially but at some point (unknown) it stopped working. You only know if it is working or not when you deliberately try to open or start the vehicle with the fob still in the pouch. Unbeknown to me it had obviously stopped being effective at some stage thus presenting the security risk I am trying to avoid. There was no obvious 'wear and tear' on the first pouches, they simply stopped working. Disappointing, but it does appear to be a theme with these pouches (seemingly irrespective of make) so check them regularly.

They are a bit on the Large Size for just protecting a car key
Bought after our "unstealable" car was nicked from a supermarket car park. The pouch works by stopping the continuously broadcast "Here I am!" signal from the key, which let's thieves with a repeater device con the car into "seeing" that your key is very near to the car. (The car was eventually recovered from a shipping container at Tilbury Port on its way to #Rotterdam.)It is the third such pouch that we have bought, as most of them fail after only two or three weeks in my pocket. The Defender pouch is effective at blocking the signal, but is very big for carrying around in a trouser pocket. Itis big enough to hold a mobile phone, so it may be a good investment for that purpose. I don't pay for anything on my phone, so it's not especially at risk.

It works
It is quite stiff material but it definitely works. If the key is in the pouch, my car won’t start!

It **SEEMS** to do what it says it does but time will tell.
Seems well made and with testing it appears to be very effective. I know from reading online reviews that some say this does not work but here is my experience. I have a brand new battery in my Car Key Fob so it is operating at full strength. The MOST IMPORTANT THING is that when you open the flap of the Defender Faraday pouch you will that there is a Pocket at the back of the pouch and your key fob MUST go in there. If you put your fob in front of the pouch it will not work. The pouch is more than big enough to hold two key fobs so just one fits perfectly. Once in the pouch you MUST close the flap to enclose the fob in the signal blocking material. To test it I placed my key fob in the rear pouch as described above and stood right next to my drivers door holding the pouch against the window glass. I then pressed each button on the fob multiple times (you can just about feel them through the pouch and you can here them clicking) and nothing happened to my car. I then removed the fob and tested each button was working before replacing the fob back in the pouch and tried it again.I then moved around my car pressing the fob buttons from all angles, against the metal and the glass and nothing happened - the signal was well and truly blocked.I bought the double pack (2 Defender pouches) one for my main key and one for the spare, so to be safe, I repeated all of my tests by swapping the fobs between the two pouches and repeating the tests as all ready described. Both seem to work perfectly.I want to stress that "FOR ME" they work but you do have to remember to place your fob correctly in the rear pouch of the defender and close the flap properly. You can not be slap dash about it and when your pride and joy motor is at stake then it is not a hassle to make sure you do what you need to.One caveat I will add - I have only just received my defenders so I have no idea how well they will stand up to constant use. I would imagine that constant use may stretch or wear the Faraday material enough to allow a signal to leak but I would expect the Defenders to at least last a year or so and you can always periodically test them for peace of mind.

Excellent
I was concerned about my smart key being cloned as it's only a few feet from the door. I did some research and found that this came out on top. I was pleased to discover that it wasn't expensive too.
