Great for aquariums!
Used this as an aquarium substrate capped with sand. A-MAZE-ING. Highly recommended of label use

I found it too fine grained.
Perhaps this is just the 'right stuff' for it's stated purpose but I did not like it. It is very very fine and makes up a slurry that I not only found hard to work with but after use for several weeks growing Lotus it had become smelly. I think it was so fine that it became anaerobic. It could well be that I'm simply using it improperly, but this was my experience.

Small bag.
You will definitely need more than one bag. Even mixed with sand I had to use a smaller pot for a bog plant

Just trash?
Does ok in my outdoor planted pot, but I’m pretty sure it’s just compost trash. Stays submerged. Lots of rocks, pieces of plastic and even a snail shell. Definitely not the quality the say on the packaging
