My First Digital Hearing Device
FLAYGO Model GM-915T This is my first digital hearing device. It replaced an older analog hearing device that I have used for the last 3 years that stopped recharging. I like the new digital digital noise reduction feature because it tends to not amplify some background noises that can be very distracting and the battery charge lasts all day for me without needing recharging in the middle of my working day. I was quickly able to find and fit the right sized soft ear-tip to make a comfortable fit that did not cause any irritation when wearing it all day and the close fit eliminated any howling or audible feedback that might be caused by the microphone picking up any amplified sounds leaking past a loose or poorly fitting ear-tip. If this is your first time using a device like this, you will quickly learn the importance of preventing sound leaks from the small speaker in the part that fits in your inner ear canal and the microphone on the outside part. This feedback sound or howling is an issue with ALL hearing assist devices, so properly fitting the correct sized soft ear-tip part to prevent audible feedback howling is necessary for all hearing assist devices regardless of brand or type. The over the ear types do not seem to have as much of a problem with feedback noises but they cause other issues with people who need to wear eyeglasses all day. There is one difference between the older analog devices like my older analog hearing amplifiers and the newer digital devices like this that may cause an issue that the new user can notice. The second picture shows an older ultra-sonic motion detector found in some older buildings mounted on the ceilings that are used to turn on interior lighting or trigger security alarms. These older sensors are not used by modern automatic door openers or other motion sensing devices but they may still be found in older buildings. These older sensors may cause a momentary sound to be detected if the amplified sound setting is set too high in the hearing device. How To Set It Up What I have learned is to cup my hand over my outer ear when first setting the hearing device on, to see if that causes any feedback noise. If I can hear some slight feedback noise that goes away after I remove my cupped hand from around my ear, I know the volume setting is about as high as I should allow it to be and also that the device is working correctly. If the cupped hand causes feedback that does not stop when my hand is removed, it means the audible volume is set too high or that the soft ear-tip is too small to block sounds from the internal speaker leaking past the soft ear-tip and being picked up by the microphone on the outside part and you may need to use the next size larger soft ear-tip or push the device further in to the ear canal for a tighter fit. There are four different "volume settings" you can set that will allow you to better hear what goes on around you without being too loud to cause audible feedback or allow background noise to become too distracting. The correct setting for your needs may change throughout your day so being able to change the volume with a simple button press is a big advantage with these devices. Remember that the device shuts off when you return it to the charging case and it will need to have the volume settings reset every time it is turned back on after being charged.

Flaygo GM-915T
This review is for Flaygo GM-915T rechargeable hearing aids. I had been looking for back up hearing aids to use when traveling instead of using my very expensive hearing aid. I settled on the Flaygo GM-915T because if the price, specs and being rechargeable. They fit into the ear canal which is an added bonus. These hearing aids arrived in a nicely packed box with plenty of accessories for use. These hearing aids pick up sound well. You might want to start out at the lowest possible setting and in my case ,keep it on that. I am deaf in one gear so I only need one hearing aid and since they come in pairs,I get an extra one to use. The only problem I’ve had and( this is not the manufacture’s fault),Is that the hearing aid does not stay completely in my ear canal. My ears are usually waxy so it can be a hassle in regard to that. I’ve given this 5 stars because I liked the overall ease of use, it fits my needs, aids can be used all day without needing a charge and the charging station holds a charge for quite some time to recharge several times. I would recommend as a good, inexpensive back up pair of hearing aids. I am happy with this product. UPDATE: One of the hearing aids stopped working,so I contacted Flaygo. They asked a few questions and made suggestions to see if I could get the hearing aid to work. I did as they suggested with no luck. Flaygo determined it was indeed defective and promptly send me an entire new set. Excellent customer service. They stand behind their product!

Great Hearing Aids with Some Unique Advantages Over Others
I've tried several of these inexpensive hearing aids to compare and these have some unique advantages making them a great option. The specific benefits of these aids are that they are very small, nearly invisible, whereas some others are more visible. However, others are too small and are nearly impossible to get of the ears. These are small, nearly invisible, but also have a long enough chord that they can be easily removed. The other key advantage of these earbuds is that they have a physical button that is big enough and raised enough that it can be easily pressed to control the volume of the earbuds. Some other earbuds have knobs on them but are too small and are impossible to adjust, especially while in the ear. In terms of sound quality, they are good and comparable to other good quality earbuds and are great at amplifying the mid-high frequencies associated with voices. The other advantage is that they seal well on the ears to block out other noise and feedback. Bottom line, these are a great option that is competitively priced and I would buy again.

Works well for one-on-one conversations
I bought this for my mom. She has moderate hearing loss. She could not carry a one-on-one conversation with anyone. My dad would have to speak real loudly and convey messages to her. With the Flaygo hearing aid, the improvement was quite significant. She could now carry a one-on-one conversation very well without any help. The device was not perfect when she was not paying attention. If she was busy in the kitchen and we started speaking to her, she wouldn’t hear us but if we got her attention first and then spoke to her she would hear us better. The device is simple to use for the elderly. She said that it felt comfortable in the ears. Also, she was happy that there was no echoing sound (unlike her previous aids). The one thing my mom didn’t like was that this was a device that was inserted in the canal. She was worried it would fall off. She preferred the behind the ear aids. I think for the price it is a very decent option. It’s easy to use and works well in one-on-one settings.

Exceptional Hearing Aids with Advanced Technology at the Right Price
I recently purchased the Flaygo GM-915T Hearing Aids on Amazon, received them the next day, charged them and read the user manual. Then I tried them out, inserted them in my ears and was amazed at how well I could hear compared to my old OTC hearing aids. Very simple to use them. I have medium hearing loss so I only need to use the level 1 or 2 volume setting. A lot of background noise was filtered out and I could hear the TV and converse with my spouse hearing the way I used to before my hearing loss occurred. The aids fit my ear canals very well and they functioned as advertised. Haven't had time to check out the battery life yet, but I have confidence they will stay charged as advertised. Exceptional product if you need hearing aids. These have my strongest recommendation to help correct your hearing loss at a very competitive price! You won't be disappointed.

Good and bad
Love that I can hear again. What I don’t love is I can’t wear it at church as it interferes when their microphone and music amplify. It gives a noise i don’t like. It’s amazing how there were a lot of noises I didn’t hear and I now can. But also a lot I wish I didn’t. Like my husbands loud breathing. He’s sick and it amplifies his cough and throat clearing. The thing that bugs me the most is after about an hour of wearing my ear starts draining and itching really bad. I’m assuming it’s the rubber ends as ear buds do the same thing to me. One more negative is they also slide out of my ears a lot when I’m up and moving around. So I’m always worrying that I’m going to lose one.

More of a sound amplifier than hearing aid
I bought these hearing aids because I have some problem hearing especially to the television They seem to serve more as sound amplifiers but am starting to get used to using them. I actually am mostly using just one in my right ear since I had nerve damage in my left Overall they are a good value for the price

Better than my $1800 pair
I have worn hearing aids for 2 years now. My original, behind the ear pair, will not last for more than 11 hours on a charge. Checking with the dealer, the cost to install new batteries is $90 per ear. So I decided to try some in the ear aids and I am happy I did. I am experiencing better voice clarity when talking with other people and also while watching TV. Went to a restaurant and found the noise reduction feature works well. Also good in church. Comfortable to wear and easy to clean. Adjustable volume lets you pick the one that suits you best. Quick charge and nice charger with digital charge level are nice additions. Work great and cost less than new batteries needed for my old hearing aids. Very happy
