Innovative, good for sensitive skin very hydrating
I have to admit that I’m obsessed with trying new skincare and devices. I’m turning 40 and have used korean skincare for 15 years, if I may say so myself, my skin looks very good and I get compliments all the time. When I came across this serum and massager tool I had to try it, I love Meditherapy products and face massagers are the newest gadget to help with product absorption deep into the skin. This serum bottle is huge and will last me several months, it is also a lightweight gel that reminds me of ultrasound gel that makes the massager tool glide over the skin with ease. I don’t go by the instruction on the amount of gel needed, I go by feeling, some days I need more gel and others less, the goal is to have the tool slide over the skin but not to apply too much prosuct that won’t be able to absorb into the skin and leave it sticky. Using the massager tool is fun but very strange at first. The vibration of the tool feels very good when used on thicker skin like the cheeks, when used on thin skin, like around the forehead, eyes and chin, the zapping can be a bit intense so I skip the eyes and chin. I like that the vibration has three levels so you can start low and work up your tolerance. I do feel that the vibration does a great job in absorbing products deeper into the skin, my skin tone looks more even and my skin is hydrated, the serum also layers well with my other products and works under makeup. I actually use the massager with other, gel like products of mine, to aid in deeper absorption. The massager head is easy to charge and holds the charge for a long time, overall I think it’s a fun and handy tool to get more out of my skincare products and their efficacy, the serum is also great but can leave a slight sticky or tight feeling on the skin but after applying my next skincare product, my skin absorbs it well and the tightness and stickiness is gone.

Seeing a reduction in redness so far
The concept of having the serum and red light therapy with a microcurrent wand in the same product was definitely intriguing and more cost effective than ordering them separately. For the serum, the recommended amount to use was way more product than my skin could handle. I have tried the 2-3 pumps the bottle recommends, but found that in the end, my skin really only takes about 1-1.5 pumps on clean skin. You apply the serum then you're supposed to glide the cap over it to get your skin to really absorb it. You use the cap for 3 minutes and really like that it has a built in timer so I don't have to watch the clock or guess how long I've been using it. Once the 3 minutes is up, it shuts off automatically. The light and microcurrent has 3 levels and works when it sits flush with your skin. This works great in large areas like my cheeks and forehead, but it does't work on and around my nose and chin. I personally works have preferred a smaller microcurrent so it worked in more areas. The serum is pretty sticky so I didn't feel like the lid really smoothly slid on my face. I experimented with more serum, less, using it right after applying serum, as well as waiting until it was absorbed more. Every way I tried it, it still feels like it drags on the sticky serum than it glides. The microcurrent does help with the absorbing. I didn't have any irritation while using the red light or any of the 3 levels of the microcurrent. The microcurrent isn't overly noticeable on the first level, but becomes more noticeable the higher you go. It doesn't cause any pain got me, just a tingling sensation. Again, I've tried it with the recommended amount and ultimately ended up on an amount that works best for me. I had the same results with the cap regardless of how much serum I use. I didn't find that using the recommended amount had my skin accept more serum, it just took longer to absorb or left a layer on top of my skin. With the 1.5 pumps, it doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky after using the top, not leaves my skin feels soft and moisturized. I have noticed that the redness in my face has been getting lighter and lighter so I'll definitely stick with it.

Really nice device set
This facial serum from MEDITHERAPY is quite gentle and hydrating on my face and layers well with my other serums. It's quite powerful and I found it was effective as it changed my skin texture from dry and red with lots of splotchy rough areas so very soft without a red mark in sight. The included device was really nice because it helped the serum absorb very quickly and improved my skin texture a lot! It pairs well with most moisturisers and I find it isn't sticky and the scent isn't too much. Drydown time was around ten minutes so keep that in mind before moving on to the next step of skincare. As always, wear sunscreen in the day as your last step unless you want crispy skin. Overall, I recommend this and would likely reorder as it is a good quality serum and a good value.

Serum and microcurrent in one bottle
Interesting 2 in 1 bottle. After charging the device you take off the cap, use the pump for the serum (I used one pump and it was plenty, even though they recommend 2-3 pumps), turn on the cap section and apply to the face with smooth strokes. When the device gets a good contact with the skin, it activates the microcurrents. It was a little hard to get smooth strokes because of the serum being a little sticky. Maybe if you let the serum absorb more the device will glide better. Because you are using this donut shaped device, it is hard to get a good contact on some parts of the face. You should be able to use just an edge of the device around the nose area, etc., but I was still having a hard time getting a good contact on the bridge of my nose. There are 3 levels for the current. When I used the first level I didn't notice any current. The second level produced a small amount of current. I haven't tried the third level yet. I have used the device for 4 mornings in a row so far and I am noticing a small amount of skin tightening so far. I'm curious what I will need to do once the serum is gone from the bottle. I guess you can just throw that part away and keep the top part for the microcurrent. I'm not sure if the device warrants the $70 price tag.

Wow! So Innovative and Convenient
I don’t think I’ve ever run across a product like this. The MEDITHERAPY Arbutin Skin Booster Serum comes with an attached red light therapy device. I am so impressed. I’ve used Arbutin in several products for hyperpigmentation issues, but to be able to drive the Arbutin deeper into the skin with this convenient red light therapy is great. The serum goes on a little sticky and I discovered that the red light device works better with a thicker layer of serum. The device has 3 intensity levels. I’ve been able to use the highest intensity with minimal discomfort. After using the serum and device for 3 weeks, I noticed that my skin tone looks a bit more even and some scarring has lightened significantly. At this point, some of the deeper older scars are unchanged but I hope in time, they will improve also. I recommended the serum and device to a friend and she found that it’s currently unavailable. Humm? I wonder why.
