I was a fan of the movie and to a lesser extent, the sequels. After viewing the movie 'Hitchcock' I became curious about Bloch's original versions. I really enjoyed all three of these stories. They were very well written and fairly quick reads. Very cool stuff.

This would be the perfect way to have all 3 of Robert Bloch's PSYCHO novels on your bookshelf in one volume, except for one ridiculous oversight: The final chapter of the original PSYCHO novel is cut off, midway through! The last sentence of this edition's reprint of PSYCHO is: "Mother killed them. That's what he said, but it was a lie." There is SUPPOSED to follow, from there, several more paragraphs of Norman/Mother's internal monologue culminating in one of the classic lines made famous by the film: "Why, she wouldn't even harm a fly..." But it's all missing. So, be warned. You may want to consider purchasing the 3 novels separately instead, as they are each available cheaply.

The first book and the movie were pretty close. I was surprised at who done it at the end of the third story.
