Find hidden storage in your home that was previously wasted space!
Great price for an awesome product. Built a king size storage bed in our rental beach condo. To keep our personal items in for when we are there. Huge wasted storage under a king size bed. See pictures. No instructions included, but we found plans all over the internet.Update: 1/2021 We noticed others have complained about not holding the weight when bedding was added. We have added a memory foam mattress topper, (heavy) and it does not hold it up. But since the beginning, we never trusted it to hold and have used a 2x4 to hold on one side, much like the prop that holds up the hood of your car. Have made 3 of these and have bought different brands each time, they are all about the same, just use a prop and it makes your life safer😀

It works, it's affordable, can't ask for more.
Building a king size selby bed frame for a latex mattress I needed something that could handle the weight and its harder than you'd think to find that. I was also surprised by the price as it was more affordable than the alternatives. Gotta say I'm happy with the results. The package arrived earlier than expected, came with everything I needed, very simple install, and it works great. Can't ask for more.Highly recommended. I'm happy with my purchase.M. A.

it's OK
This is just OK, the hardware seems well made and was easy to install. But the gas springs are just strong enough to support the 3/4" plywood platform and a mattress, add sheets and blankets to it and nope. Not a big deal it still provides some open assistance, and I installed a prop rod.

Useful
It works well but doesn’t stay up once you put the mattress on.

Very Happy
My husband and I are very happy with this product. It arrived prior to the estimated delivery date. We have a small home so any extra space we can use makes a world of difference for us. Now we can easily utilize the space under our bed to the fullest without a struggle. -OJ

Works great.
Built a queen size storage platform bed. 20” high. It’s a little heavy to lift, but supports the weight superbly when open and lifts very high for easy access under the bed.

Inadequate lifting power; (wrong pneumatic lifts were sent.) Seller didn't reply.
The 5 ft. Heavy Duty B150 is sturdy and well-designed. It would be a good value for price, if they had shipped what I ordered. The hinge glides forward a bit when you lift, so the mattress does not ram into the wall or headboard. Nice. Sadly, I can barely lift the mattress without a lot of effort, then hurt my back when trying to figure out how to install a permanent solution for a prop stick.Other customers complained about either too much lift or not enough, so it was hard to anticipate. I have a 3/4” cabinet-grade sheet of plywood under my regular queen-sized mattress and a 3” foam topper, with an approximate weight of 250 lbs. The product description says each mechanism has 185lbs of lift and the bottom photo pictures hinge with a 90KG pneumatic lift, however, my pair were received with two 60 Kg lifts. You might think that this would be adequate for a 120 lb mattress platform, but you are not just straight-out lifting. You are pushing at an angle from two points on an adjustable hinge, so the physics of the lift are not direct.Another reviewer said they had success with an additional pair of pneumatic lifts. It tried the same, and it was an awful fail. One extra 100 lb pneumatic lift was so strong it wouldn't close and looked like it would crack the plywood when I put all of my weight on it. Also, the ball brackets quickly broke under the strain, because they didn't match the motion of the Happybuy hinge that rocked forward, so the full extension and closing length was not compatible with the Happybuy hinges.Result? A pair of hinges (which we bolted onto cleats that are glued to the storage boxes, so that they) are now too difficult to return, an extra pair of pneumatic lifts and brackets, one broken, a bed I can't lift and a sore back. This would all be easily rectified if the seller would offer to exchange the 60 Kg lifts for the 90 Kg lifts, but I have sent messages through the Amazon platform with no reply. You can't just upgrade the Happybuy pneumatic lifts, because they have a different connector that auto hatch lifts.A useful instruction video by Woodcraft can be seen on YouTube. The project took us a couple of days. I LOVE the large, neat and tidy storage box we built, (no more plastic under-bed bins covered in dust and dog hair!)Like other customers mentioned, you will need some fasteners. One nut was missing for attaching a pneumatic lift, but it is a common size and we had an extra laying around, so no problem. No fasteners were included for attaching to your mattress support, but this may be because the manufacturer doesn’t know what thickness or material you are going to use under your mattress. We used an extra 8 bolts we had laying around.Would be five stars if I got the right pieces. Instead, two stars because they didn't reply to my messages requesting an exchange for correct parts.
