XBlade Universal Home Blade Set - Wahl 1045 substitute - Fits all Wahl home clippers - The small blade is upgraded

This fits the M/C clipper just fine. WTH do they mean by "Stretch?" None of these blade sets are universal. It's nice and sharp, but I'm keeping the old lower because it was still sharp enough to cut my finger. 😒 I dropped the clippers so I needed a new top blade. There is no such thing as a universal blade, but I imagine you could use some of the other styles. This fits mine, and it's nice and sharp. I does have a chamfer instead of a rounded transition to the teeth to save machining cost. So do newer Wahl model blades. I can't speak to how long it will stay sharp. It looks like it's a lower carbon content steel.

I needed a universal blade for a 1950's or 60's hair trimmer that my parents had. I wanted to cut my son's hair and they pulled it out and I couldn't believe it still worked. Their blade was ancient probably never changed. My mom said it cuts fine LOL! No, it didn't cut at all! So I looked at the old blade and the pictures of blades and it appeared it might fit. Voila. It came and it does. So know they have a fully working antique hair trimmer. Crazy they just don't make things like they used to back in the day.

I bought these blades for my old Clip n Trim clippers. The main blade fit fine. The small blade's cutout shape & size is wrong and uneven. When attached and turned on, the clippers are loud, vibrate horribly, and the blades shift even though the screws are completely tight. I used the old small blade with the new large one because I needed a haircut for a recording. Otherwise, I would have sent them back.

This was exactly what I needed to replace the blades on My clippers which just weren't cutting it anymore. The price was just right, the speed of shipping couldn't be beat, and the installation could be done with your eyes closed it's so easy!!

I was hesitant to buy this blade set because of a some negative but there were more positive feedback than negatuve, I'm glad I purchased this blade set because they were shipped soon after I purchased them and they work GREAT!! Barber shops are still closed and I NEEDED a haircut but I knew the original blade set needed to be replaced.

I like that they fit my whal clippers I've had for 20 years. They fit nice and cut nice.

These blades did not fit well on the clippers. The hole on the small blade that goes over the part that moves the blade back and forth, was off in size a bit, so it did not fully fit on. This causes the blade to come dislodged easily. Then you have to take everything apart to put it back in place. I was hoping this would be an ok replacement for when the wahl brand was out of stock, but I think it was a waste of money.

Top (larger) blade fits perfect. Bottom blade punch out off just enough to where it won’t fit on the drive flange without modifying.
