At first I felt this to be too strong, there is an element of "cheap perfume" as a top note to the very start. However this fades very quickly and upon drying even for a short bit has a surprising accuracy to the original. For the price it's wonderful, may not be for everyone.

The scent was supposed to be reminiscent of Chanel no 5. This did not smell like Chanel at all. At least not the way that I remember it. Granted it has been quite a long time since I have been able to afford Chanel no 5, so I thought that I would give this a shot. Why?? I should have known better. It was overly musky, and extremely strong. Seriously you could use this as air freshener for a cattle barn, it is that strong. I had a bad allergic reaction and was coughing and had to thoroughly wash off my wrists a few times before the scent was dissipated. It smelled cheap and overpowering, like the axe body spray version of women's knockoff perfume. I love the convenience of ordering stuff on Amazon, but I will never again order a perfume or cologne unless it's the real thing, and I'm sure of what I'm getting. Oh well, at least I'm not out too much, and I can donate it to Goodwill. Maybe someone else will like it, who knows? All I know is I couldn't breathe very well, and was coughing like crazy, and it is unfortunately not returnable.

Pretty close to the 'real' Chanel no. 5. The scent is long lasting and smells like Chanel to me. I agree with another reviewer a bit goes a long way. It is a nice size bottle and should last for some time (unless you bathe in fragrance). I cannot justify spending well over $100.00 for the authentic version, I'm not trying to impress anyone. This works for me and I am very pleased with my purchase

Overall an acceptable interpretation, however, I much prefer the “Perfect Scents” version for a more natural old fashion feel. This one smells a bit more floral and green, but this gives more of a new perfume or a sort of fresh laundry scent. The Perfect Scents one is also an acceptable interpretation but in my opinion more accurate and subtle.

I got Chanel no. 5 thinking that that would be good. However, i realized too late that the smell was one I hated. I hadn’t realized that the way my grandmother smelled was due to Chanel no. 5. No one ever told me why she smelled like baby powder. I thought she was putting it in her crevices or something. Anyway, my whole life I’ve heard talk of Chanel no. 5 and how everyone loves it blah blah blah and I’ve never smelled it before so I was like eff it I’m buying this. I guess this product is honestly great because I sprayed it on myself and GAGGED. Straight baby powder. I told my mom about it and she laughed saying my grandma always wore that (Chanel. Not the knock off). And I knew I recognized the scent. (Rip grandma) Anyway… i want to try bombshell bc I actually know what that smells like. Don’t get Chanel. Just don’t do it

Smells great fragrance short lived however not worth the money

Arrived in perfect condition. But not a smell I can handle. I am not sensitive to smells at all but this one is not one I enjoy. Worth a try! But I’ll be getting rid of it after the first smell/spray. I can’t say anything about how it compares to Chanel #5….

So much like the real Channel #5. I have always been a Channel #5 lover ever since I was a teenager. This love has continued through the years. If you are anything like me I can NOT afford the real deal every time I need a refill. So “ IN STYLE “ steps in and helps significantly with that yummy fresh smell I love.
