These are tasty! I’m familiar with foods cooked in tallow, so I knew they would be the thicker style of chip. I like potatoes, so it’s not a problem to have potato in my potato chip! They are lightly salted. Do I wish they had a lower price? Yes, I do! HOWEVER, the truth is that it costs money to grow and process food without chemicals that will make me, or even worse, make my children sick. And it costs money to pay people living wages. We are just so used to food being cheap but crappy. I can afford a bag of these occasionally as a nice treat. And I appreciate that food and business minded folks are making foods without seed oils; not only are they also bad for one’s health in the quantity we consume, but some of us are allergic to them! So Thank You for making these. You are doing a nice thing!

If I could give this a 0 I would have. Not worth the hype or the price. The potatoes are covered in the green looking substance. Which gives the potatoes an unripe look giving the appearance of burnt chips. The taste and flavor are terrible uneatable. Food cost too much to waste, but because these are non refundable I will have to take the lost. I have ordered the corn chips and will do a review on them. JB

I agree with the bad reviews. In the first bag there were a mix of slightly overcooked and less cooked chips I didn't mind the variety and I do like a good dark chip now and then. My complaint was that the potatos used were not fresh tasting and had a rather meally texture that was caused by the heaviness of the lard used to cook them together with the thichness of the chips which resulted in the chips being oversaturated with the lard which at room temperature becomes too dense. Chips need to be crisp, light and the potatos have to have a fresh flavor! The price makes it a total deal breaker. I will not reorder!

I love the idea of these chips, unfortunately they are always burnt. Ive had a few bags now hoping for less burnt chips and the results are always the same. I do love the ingredients. I’m disappointed that they are always burnt.
