i bought this for elbows, upper arm and back, side of the belly, and thighs - dry skin coverage. excellent. does not smell at all, and leaves them softer and not itchy

I’ve been using this lotion for years. It was recommended by my dermatologist. I’ve tried many other brands but nothing moisturizes my skin as well as this product. It ‘sinks into’ my skin and keeps it hydrated for hours. Someone I recommended it to in the past, stated that she didn’t like the smell. I believe it has ‘no smell’, and I’d rather have my perfume be noticed and not my lotion.

I got this for my boyfriend because he has sensitive skin that is irritated by harsh soaps and ingredients in various skincare and even laundry detergent. Recently he began to have a breakout on his cheeks and nose that looked red and he described as being dry, chapped and stinging. I have no idea what could be the cause of this and without any professional opinion it's hard to know what to do but I thought he should try this product because it is gentle on sensitive skin, has no strong fragrance and is supposed to exfoliate dead skin. Several weeks later and his skin has cleared up entirely and he really likes this product. I appreciate the large bottle and the pump on the top, which I feel both add to the value. Overall this product has been very effective in this case and I appreciate the fact that it is able to deliver the benefits it claims on the bottle.

I have not used it yet but I did arrive with the top part broken. Thankfully nothing spilled and it is still usable. I did get the weakest one out of the line since I have sensitive skin and will primarily use this on my face and occasionally on the back of my legs.

Well what can I say ?? I have been using high end creams & lotions for my dry skin for years ! I just ordered Eight Saints neck cream , hand lotion & several other things …each one around 30 -40 dollars a piece & this put them all to shame for $15.00 !!! What ?? I used it earlier today & my legs still feel smooth & hydrated . I thought well if my legs feel this good why not apply to my neck & wouldn’t you believe my neck actually feels good ! My neck skin might actually start heading in the right direction! So I am now ordering their neck cream today if the lotion makes that much difference . Good bye to my La-Roche Posay lotions & creams as well , besides the cicaplast balm from that line . My dermatologist recommended this brand years ago & I thought there is no way a lotion from the drug store is any good .. boy was I wrong , put my high end creams to shame . I learned a valuable lesson today. Also , I heard a dermatologist recommend this for preventative aging for the face used in the Am routine . 😊

This stuff is amazing. I'd been using another brand for a while, and that stuff works, sure, but my skin has never felt so smooth as after I switched to this. I was using it it on my face just to begin with because I was having some really horrible outbreaks, and after ONE application of this - I mean, I'm not gonna sit here and say my skin was magically clear. It wasn't. But the redness, irritation, and dry skin from a sit I had DIRECTLY BETWEEN MY EYES went away with in hours. After a couple of days, it's almost completely healed, and for me, that's unheard of. I'm also glad it's a huge bottle - bigger than most? all? of the other AmLactin products - because my main use for lactic acid is on my legs after shaving; I have pseudo folliculitis and this is one of the only things that makes shaving my legs not only pleasant but straight up possible. Without this stuff I'd basically be screwed.
