Lake Country - CCS White Hook & Loop Foam Polishing Pad - 6.5 Inch Diameter

I have been using this pad for about 2 months and really love it. It's for a detail shop and is really holding up to the constant use. I would recommend cleaning it frequently and keeping it clean before use. Besides that there isnt much to say. This is one of the more harsh pads for use with a medium grit compound. I found when using this I was most likely going to need my main buffer to get the heat out of it so this pad doesnt get much use.In order to clean it I soaked it in a 5 gallon pale with soap for about 6 hours. Then I will wring it out a few times and then rinse with clean water. I think there is a grate you can use also but I find it pretty simple to do this way and you dont have to buy anything else.+Excellent finishLong lasting-Sucks to clean but typical for what it isUsually found myself needing a high speed buffer if I needed this pad

Excellent product, exceptional quality, easy to use.The polishing pad is great for removing any swirls or light scratches on your vehicle, and the manufacture of this pad has truely build a superior product. I have used mine several times and it still looks and performs like new.

As far as polishing out the car, the pad worked as it should. Gave it a good polish with Chemical Guys V38 polish compound. But it got really hot in the center and melted away on the back after only using it on one small car(Chrysler Prowler). Used it on a Porter Cable 7424XP, setting number 6. Was trying out different brand pads to see which seemed to work better if any. Will be sticking with Chemical Guys brand going forward.

very good polishing pad. does the job and gives you a great wet look i wanted. once you prime it, just took a few dabs. very impressed.

I have purchased countless items from amazon and always had a great experience. This however is the first 1 star review I have ever given. I am extremely dissatisfied. I own a detailing business and have been using lake country ccs pads happily with no issues for years. I needed a new polishing pad asap because I had several cars coming up that needed to be done so I paid for two day shipping which was $11.48 alone. What I received IS NOT a Lake Country CCS pad but rather some garbage off brand pad I could have gotten a similar one of from Harbor Freight for 5 bucks. CCS pads are supposed to look like the one they have pictured in the description, with small holes in them to better hold polish and compound. This has no holes, its all flat. The velcro for the hook and loops is not like what lake country has either. Lake country pads velcro spans the ENTIRE width of the pad this only spans part of it. I still used the pad I was given anyway seeing as how I can't tell my customers "NO I can't work on your car because a seller on amazon gave me the wrong item." Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

This works very well on my PC 7424 when applying wax to my boat. The problem I've had with many pads is that the hook & loop backing separates from the pad prematurely. I haven't had that problem with these. They're a bit more expensive than some other pads but I do believe it's a better pad.
