The color is amazing! If you use a lip pencil to make the contour and then the gloss, wow, everybody will talk about it! However is doesn’t hydrate your lips at all. If you want something to hydrate, this is not the best option. If you want something glowing in your lips, this is the one!

Smells delicious like popcorn and very moisturizing on the lips. Sugar glaze is a beige brown color that suits my neutral warm skin tone. Love the donut tip applicator as well.

I'm a big fan of Laneige products and have been using the Lip Sleeping Mask for about three years now after seeing it on a recommended beauty products list. I purchased the Lip Glowy Balm - Berry after confirming that I loved the sleeping mask and how rich and moisturizing it is. I now use it daily in addition to the Lip Sleeping Mask at night and my thin little white girl lips have never been softer or smoother. When I saw they had a colored gloss, I had to try it and I absolutely love it! The color is perfect and it is so smooth (not at all tacky/sticky) and has such a nice flavor/aroma. The color is not a light, barely-there tint, it is true to the photo. A very high-quality product! They've got a customer for life in me! Please don't ever discontinue this product. And if you do, let me know so I can buy up all your stock!

I am a medium brown complexion (neutral/cool undertones) and I liked this on my two-tone lips. The product is buildable and even if it's not the longest lasting product on my lips, the ingredients in the product don't leave my lips feeling dry and in desperate need of re-applying as soon as the product fades away. I find the donut concept playful. And if a little mood lifting comes from a a lip serum/gloss, that's cool. I personally find it a bit pricey, so it's a win-win when it's on sale. But if I ran out and there was never a sale, I would splurge on this one once in awhile. It works well with a lip liner or on its own. I have fairly defined lips but appreciate that this product can offer different looks. I have also dabbed a touch on after applying a matte lipstick and it's also a cute look. So it's definitely a product you can play with to customize some looks. I did read some reviews that thought that product would leave the lip area and migrate. I see how that would be the case depending on how your lips are. But you can put a minimal amount on if you just want the feel of the product and the ingredient benefits or like I mentioned, do a lip liner/lipstick and then put a dab on for a certain effect. But if you are relying on this product to be your total lip product and like putting a fair bit on, I do think it would be hard to work with depending on the climate/time of year plus natural lip condition (e.g. hot weather versus cool weather). This product does seem responsive to temperature, but not necessarily in a bad way. Just know your situation. And if you buy it and decide you don't like it or it doesn't work, believe me that there are plenty of people who would love to adopt this product from you. Love this! I purchased the blueberry one and the same day it was delivered I went back to Amazon to get another of the same plus a new color to try. The applicator is nice, I was surprised because I thought it would be a hard donut but it’s actually soft easily squishable silicone which makes it so easy to apply compared to other glosses. The smell is very light and sweet, no taste, color is strong and noticeable with only one swipe, decent staying power, thicker in texture than a lip oil but not super sticky or gunky.
