Does the job brilliantly and low cost 👍
👍 I’m genuinely impressed with how effective they are at catching flies and other insects. They work really well in areas that are prone to flies/bugs and definitely midges. I like that they’re pesticide-free, which makes them a safer option for homes with pets and children. They’re very easy to use, just hang or place them where flies are most active, and they do the job. They really make a difference in the kitchen. The adhesive is strong and holds the insects in place. I also appreciate that they can be used both indoors and outdoors, making them versatile for areas like patios and gardens. For the price, 16 strips offer great value, and I’ll be set for quite a while. One thing to keep in mind is that the adhesive is very strong, so it can be tricky to handle without getting it on your hands or other surfaces. After a while, the traps can start to look unsightly, especially when they’ve caught a lot of flies. The adhesive loses its effectiveness over time, so you’ll need to replace the strips for best results. Overall, these fly paper strips are an affordable, easy-to-use solution for controlling flies and other insects without chemicals. They’re very effective at first but should be replaced regularly for maximum performance.

Good but easily ripped when opening
Good for catching small flies but 6 out of the 16 strips ripped when opening so were useless and had to be thrown away. This was with me being very careful and opening the tubes very slowly and twisting as pulling so they unravel correctly. They have no smell which is good.

Sticky, safe, no smell. Flies stick fast. Messy but effective. Great bulk buy
These fly paper strips are non-toxic, pesticide-free, and designed to trap flies, gnats, moths, and other airborne pests. Each strip is coated with a strong adhesive gel that holds insects on contact. They’re ideal for kitchens, greenhouses, bins, pet areas, and even outdoor patios. Installation is simple: twist, pull, and hang using the red loop and included thumbtack. Once full, just remove and bin it—no mess, no fumes. The adhesive is odourless, making it safe to use around food prep areas and pets. ✅ Pros Strong adhesive—flies stick instantly, no escape Pesticide-free—safe for homes with kids or pets Odourless—no chemical smell or vapour Easy to hang—loop and tack system included Works indoors and outdoors—greenhouses, bins, kitchens Affordable bulk pack—16 strips for under £61 ⚠️ Cons Sticky to handle—can get on fingers if not careful Not reusable—single-use only Can droop in heat—best hung in shaded areas Visible mess—dead flies are exposed Limited coverage—best used in multiples for larger areas 🧍♂️ Personal Verdict Used these in a bin area and greenhouse—flies gone in hours. The strips are super sticky, so wear gloves or use the loop. No smell, no fuss, and they do the job. For under a tenner, they’re a solid fix for fly season. Just don’t expect them to look pretty once they’re working.

They're alright I guess
Not the best product. The string has a habit of detaching when you're trying to unravel it, leaving a gluey mess all over the place. Yep they did just fold the sticky paper over the string and expect it to stay there. The paper tends to rip as well if you're not extra gentle with it - not easy when you're trying to unroll sticky paper. It doesn't attract flies apparently so I'll probably need to set up some kind of trap or hang them directly above the bin and see what happens, because so far they've caught exactly zero flies despite me putting them in rooms that I know have flies in them. In fact so far the only fly they have caught is the fly who came stuck in the packet (pictured), that must have been caught during the packaging process. One thing I can say in their defence is that they are definitely sticky and will probably catch a fly or two at some point. Update: yep flies definitely stick to it, so that's good, but you have to figure out how to get the flies to touch it. Still a pain to actually unravel the things though and for that alone they lose 2 stars.

doesnt catch fruit fly, poor design.
totally useless product, its a roll of paper strip with some gum on it rolled in a container, I bought this to trap fruit fly. they usually sit on the ceiling in groups, but the designers of this product decided to have a cord which you need to hang it, you cant do that from ceiling, but need to find somewhere on the sides where you can hang the cord. taking the paper strip without it tearing off is a job not for the ordinary, there are 8 tubes in a pack, the cord came of in 4 of these. you hang it on side, 3-5 fruit fly capture next morning, there is absolutely no fragrance to attract the flys its just gum, that too not evenly spread, some flies sit on it and fly away happily... need to find a better product, or call pest control, this is just useless. dont waste money.

It works but not well made !!
Once these are hung up they are lethal , but getting them up takes a bit of patience, know how and ingenuity !! Open the lid and hold it in your left hand while slowly turning the container in your right hand clockwise while pulling the gummy paper out slowly. The paper came out of every container I tried , and once out I retained it back into the container using a drawingpin. First through the flypaper and then through the side of the plastic container !! Yes your hands are going to get really messy and sticky but I found that hot water and a household surface cleaner (not bleach) then some soap and a scrubbing brush did the trick effectively and quickly !!! Within about 4 hours I returned to check the papers , and to my pleasant surprise there were about 20 to 30 flies stuck to them. Our lunch break was one of the most pleasant we’d had for weeks if not months !!! 1 solitary fly seemed to have managed to avoid its demise , but hopefully it will suffer the same fate as it’s friends in the coming days !!!! Designers just have to go back to the drawing board to iron out a few niggling problems , the biggest one being anchoring the end of the tape to the inside of the plastic container !!! But it works folks……..boy does it work !!!!!👍

Poor quality wouldn't buy again
Paper rips as you pull it out. The red cord is not securely stuck to the paper and is not strong enough to pull on so it just comes away. The yellow bottom part is not securely stuck to the bottom of the strip so when you pull it out it just falls off so nothing to grip onto to remove the strip, it all comes out in one piece as a result. Its very sticky and have put up the few bits that I could which has caught a couple of flies so it seems to work but the other issues mean I wouldn't buy this or recommend

Gets the job done
These are fabulous. I got these today and within moments had my first fly caught. I have used these before when living in France. They are not attractive to look at and you should always place them where the flies gravitate to. Like a window. Be mindful of the hight too. In the past I have walked into these and got my hair wrapped in the sticky coating. Nothing worse than peeling sticky gooey tape with flies on, from your hair. I took a star off ease of use, I couldn’t make the pin supplied work. It wouldn’t go into anywhere I tried so I used duct tape and that works fine and leaves no holes. They are super gooey so be careful not to get things like curtains stuck on them. However these do the job amazingly well and I am feeling so relieved now to have these. I have had a small infestation and my numbers are reducing. These little things are gonna help big time. These always get the job done. I find slowly pulling it out of the cap while turning in a clockwise motion helps widen the tape
