La Brea Bakery Take & Bake Garlic Loaf, 12 oz (Frozen)

This bread is spectacular! It's so handy to have it in the freezer and so easy to bake. The outside cooks perfectly crispy and the inside soft and fluffy, even on day two. Served it with some olive and sun-dried tomato tapenade and it was a hit.Quick mention: It has a very mild garlic taste (as if the garlic was added to the batter) so it in no way resemble traditional "garlic bread" if that's what you are looking for. I would definitely recommend and would buy this again. In fact, La Brea products are consistently high quality.

Very bland flavor for stating “garlic”. More of an aftertaste at best. Bread is crispy and texture is descent when baked, however it doesn’t slice so well to add to bread basket?

The parbaked frozen loaf is not nearly as good as the fresh loaf of garlic bread. It’s not as fluffy and risen, presumably cause it hasn’t spent as much time in the oven, and lately the sourdough flavor seems exaggerated. We also tend to have a frozen center using the recommended temp and time (Maybe too hot). Not wanting to burn the outside, we don’t mind pulling off outer layers of crunchy crust and steamy bread, and letting the middle rest in the off-but-still-hot-and-cooling oven. Or just continue baking. Another approach we’ve taken is to bake 20 or so minutes, turn the oven off, and leave it for the day or a couple hours. When we return, it is thoroughly prepped, maybe cool if it’s been a while. But this always produces a nice crust and moist inside.

So gooooood!! Roasted garlic gloves baked in....and then frozen. When you want fresh bread just bake it and eat. Great quality!!!

It was bread with garlic in it but not garlic bread with butter and garlic. Even though it had baked garlic in the bread there was very little flavor and the bread was missing some yeasty flavor to bread

This is a great product when you can't get a fresh loaf of bread from a bakery.

This bread is so good! A nice soft loaf with fresh garlic cloves in it. So yummy and fragrant once you take it out of the oven. My only regret is that I cannot order more! It's so good!

Bake according to directions. Mild garlic flavor but you can always drizzle with olive oil and roasted chopped garlic. Smells and tastes like home made bread.
