I've been using Nice 'n' Easy for years & I've always been delighted with the natural look it gives me. This is the first time I've used the new formula, I was in total shock when I started the application, the colour was carrot colour, I checked the box, it most was definitely Dark Auburn - it certainly didn't look like that on my hair. Panic. I left it on for 15 minutes, thinking to myself I would need to 're-colour immediately. It really did look horrendous. Still panicking. Rinsed, & rinsed ..... & .....yes, it looked perfect - Relief. So, don't worry, it really does come out in the wash !!!

Nice colour and long lasting
Lovely colour and leaves hair feeling great afterwards. I have dark roots and the colour still came out nicely.

Horrible smell
The smell is really, really strong ammonia, making it quite hard to breathe even with all the windows open. I couldn't even be in the room with the towel I used and have had to put it straight into the wash. It was very difficult to get the dye out of my hair and even after the water ran clear the smell still remains on my hair. It's not fully dry yet but so far the coverage looks good.
