As a former Montessori teacher trainer, I see several layers of learning opportunities in this very well made wooden stacking set. Great toy! Sometimes my grandchild uses as stacking blocks, sometimes she puts them on the pegs in color order. We play together and split the blocks and see who can get theirs on the fastest. My GC is 3 so she’s almost past putting things in her mouth, but some of the pieces are a little small so I’d keep watch. We are going to use the cards that come with this set soon to follow the patterns!

Very cute product, but was WAY smaller than I expected. Beads could cause a choking hazard to small babies. Works great for 3 year old under supervision
