How does this powder carry such a high amount of iron in it? Especially when is Cleary states the only ingredient is acacia.

i know what the label says, but i am asking the manufacturer: does this product really contain 1,384 mgs of calcium and 24 mgs of iron??

I'd also like to add that our Acacia Fiber has not been fortified in any way. The actual levels of calcium and iron per serving areas follows: Calcium - 40mg (3% RDA) Iron - 0.5mg (3% RDA) I sincerely apologize for any confusion! This is a great product for people on the go because you don't need a blender to mix it. A shaker cup is all you need. Recommend starting with one or two teaspoons in 16oz water. It has a very neutral taste so you may want to add some protein powder for flavor. I have been using this product for 6 months now and I really like it. I make my shake at night and then drink it in the morning. I use 6 ounces of chocolate milk plus 14 oz of water and 3 heaping teaspoons of Acadia. No more constipation and I am well hydrated first of the day!
