Bottom line - this stuff works! I have shoulder length-plus hair, use permanent color (for gray) once a month, & am disciplined about applying conditioner & oil to nourish my hair. Having tried many conditioners over the years & I'm picky about only using products that work. I heard others raving about Dove Hair Intensive Repair on social media, so thought I'd try it out. Wow, it's one of the best! After only one application I noticed my hair felt a bit softer... after two applications softer yet & fewer split-ends...ETC. So keep your long locks, Ladies! Take supplements, oil your hair once a week (apply organic coconut oil to dry hair, wait two hours, then wash), use a natural shampoo, & condition with Dove Repair with each wash. I also sleep on a mulberry silk pillowcase - seals in moisture & prevents breakage. I receive compliments on my hair often. Dove Repair is making my long hair maintenance easier - leave Dove in for only 2 minutes then rinse. It's quick, easy, & absolutely worth the money. Plus it feels & smells like an expensive product. Hair luxury!

I’ve got a dry hair type that needs heavy conditioning. I’ve found most hair masks in the past regardless of price point did not do anything for my hair. I tried this one out with hesitation because I previously did not have a stellar experience with the intensive repair conditioner. So I gave the bond strength mask a go. And I’m fairly surprised. I saw the results after only 3-4 uses. The texture of the product is thick, but not too thick. The mask glides through the hair quite nicely. I wouldn’t say it has a serum like texture. I would say it just feels like a regular cream deep conditioner. It’s not oily either. As soon as it hits your hair, you immediately notice that your tangle start to unravel at least that’s what happened to me. I leave mine in anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes with the shower water off and then I follow up with a regular conditioner. Just to “seal” everything in, but that’s not even necessary because this mask does the job. The smell is pretty good. I would say most people would like it. It’s not floral and not sweet. It just has a nice perfumey scent. My hair feels a lot smoother after I style it, and it stays sleeker for longer even up to 8 days. As far as the ingredients go. I know that apparently dove has patented the technology out in their damage repair lines so I can’t speak too much on that but for what it’s worth this mask those contain a lot of solid ingredients for conditioning the hair such as silicones and fatty alcohols. Don’t shy away from this mask just because of the hype. Obviously different things work for different people, but at the end of the day. It’s worth a shot because of how affordable it is. And how much success you’re probably going to have with it.

For starters, I have very damaged hair. It’s not been processed at all, no blow drying ever, it’s just very long hair that’s been growing for 10+ years with no trims in all that time. I refuse to get my hair trimmed so my hair looked very rough and dry with lots of split ends. The roughness of my hair, especially near the ends, didn’t feel or look nice and made brushing, combing and detangling my hair a nightmare, even with conditioners, oils and detangling spray. I was skeptical that any one product would help my old, damaged hair but I was wrong. So very, very wrong. This product, Dove Intensive Repair, has completely transformed my hair after just one use. My years old, dry, rough hair with horrible split ends that would get tangled if I just looked at it wrong is now smooth, silky, soft and shiny. I can’t get over how nice my hair looks and feels. I didn’t even have to use my detangling spray after washing my hair because it’s like this product erased or prevented any tangles from even forming. It’s made combing, brushing and braiding my hair a dream. The product is very easy to use. Wash and condition your hair as normal, using any shampoo and conditioner you like (this product’s label says to use Dove shampoo and conditioner but I didn’t and it still works great). Then, after you rinse the conditioner out of your hair squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible and apply this repair treatment from midway down your hair (so not on your scalp) and all the way to the ends. The label says to leave it on for 1 minute then rinse but I left it on for 3 minutes because my hair is so damaged and it worked beautifully. The only drawback to this wonderful product is that it does have a lot of fragrance in it. It’s a pleasant perfumed scent but it’s strong so if you’re sensitive to perfume it might not be for you. If they had a fragrance-free version it would be absolutely perfect but even with the fragrance it’s still a winner and I’m so glad I gave it a try. Dove Intensive Repair is truly a miracle cure for rough, dry, damaged hair.
