Well built machine, Excellent Customer Service!
I’ve owned this for over a year, and did register it for allowing for an additional year. It’s worked great and I was able to remotely monitor the humidity of my cabin remotely via WiFi. Sadly recently the pump quit working, so it wasn’t able to pump up and out of the cabin. I emailed customer support and they have been beyond fantastic. They asked a few questions, I had to send the receipt, serial number and a couple photos. With me filing the registration it gave me an extra warranty so they are shipping a new machine at no cost to me!! This is the dehumidifier to buy! It is reliable, the wifi connectivity helps you monitor moisture from afar and allows you to control the machine remotely as well. If the pump fails, the machine does continue to fill the tank and stop, thats how you’ll know you have an issue with the pump. Solid and well built machine compared to others I’ve bought! A+ and customer service is A++!

Do not buy. very cheap quality compared to the last year model. no support-Read new reviews
I usually, do not write negative reviews, but I had to write one for this product. This is my third Homelabs dehumidifier. I like them because they were very quiet compared to the other ones. First one lasted about two years . that one did not have pump ( gravity drain) and I was using external pump to drain in. After two years, it was making such a loud noise that I could not use it when I am working in the basement. I bought my 2nd one in April 23. This one had an internal pump, but pump stopped working in August 24. Try to call support, but there is no more phone support. the support page has a chat option that does not work. It is simply an image of a chat button but linked to nowhere. You can not find any parts for these humidifier anywhere on internet or from homelabs. It seems that these are built to work for one year. Finally, I ordered my third one in September 24. (1 week ago). This one claims to have solved the drain pump issue. It says in manual that pump will not drain continuously, so water pump should last longer. However, this one has WIFI, that was important for me. Unfortunately, WIFI does not work. Simply it does not go to AP (access Point) mode. That means you can not connect it to your network. Following instruction does not help and the link in their app for instruction of resetting WIFI is not relevant to this model. Long story short, this company started good. Their humidifier had very low noise and they had a phone support that was very responsive. Current support page is a mockery. Now, they have reduced the quality of the product while price has gone up from $240 to $320 ( I compared my last one 2023 model with my new 2024 model) plastic parts simply became worse, the size of the bucket has reduced. In positive side, there is an improvement in drain connection which is now a quick-fit style. Also they have changed the air flow direction from top to the side which is much less annoying. Overall, it is a pity that homelabs started with a good product 2021-2023, but quality of product and support has drastically reduced since then. I am going to send my new dehumidifier back and my recommendation is not to waste your money on this dehumidifier. It costed me about $250 per year (averaged over 4 years). It can not be repaired. no spare part exist and no support part exist.

Dehumidifies well, but pump action is not as expected
I purchased the Homelabs Dehumidifier with a pump about 3 months ago. I am in an environment with very high humidity and have installed the dehumidifier in my garage to protect items stored there. From a dehumidifying perspective, the unit works well and seems to run less than my old dehumidifier. The controls are simple and clear. The pump works, but not as I expected. The manufacturer's description is "Built-In Pump for Continuous Drainage – The integrated pump eliminates manual emptying, allowing hassle-free, continuous drainage for a consistently dry environment." That sounds like the bucket will always be empty or, should it get full, be completely emptied. I found that the bucket fill level indicator always seems to show that it is full or nearly full. I was concerned that I had a defective unit and called customer service. They told me "the pump feature on this model does not rely on the bucket being full. Instead, once the pump is turned on and the drain hose is properly connected, the unit will automatically pump out water as it collects, helping to keep the bucket from filling up in the first place." What actually happens is that the unit just pumps a little out when the bucket is full. You cannot tell if the pump is working since the bucket is always appears to be full. I don't know if this is the behavior Homelabs intended, but I feel that their product description is misleading. Additionally, the "smart" wi-fi controls offer only limited information (mode, set humidity, ambient humidity). When the ambient humidity is high (e.g., when the garage door was recently opened), I'd like to know if the unit is actively running and perhaps how full the bucket is. Just to be clear, the unit is keeping the humidity well-controlled. I just wish the product description was clearer and that the app offered more information for peace of mind when I am away from home.
