Thank you for the question. If FLAVORS is unopened, it will always have an expiration date that is at least 9 months away from the date of purchase. Once opened, the FLAVORS powder does not need to be refrigerated, but it is best to use it within 3 months. If stored in a refrigerator, FLAVORS will remain fresh for up to 6 months.

Could this be applied to a dog's chew toy?

Thank you for the question. This depends on the toy, but we know two ways we would recommend using FLAVORS in combination with a chewy toy. First, you can make a broth by adding FLAVORS to water and then freezing that mixture in the toy (commonly done with an original KONG toy). The second way you could apply FLAVORS to certain chew toys would be to add a small amount of water to make a paste (similar to the consistency of toothpaste) and then stuff the toy with the mixture.

My dogs love this stuff!!!! I got this for my new pug. She is 7 years old and overweight. Her previous family fed her people food all the time. She was having a hard time adjusting to kibble. I got this and now she eats it no problem. My other two love it too!
