UPERFECT Portable Monitor 4K 120HZ QLED 17.3", 0.1ms Gaming Monitor

My main reason for buying this portable monitor is because of my previous experience with another Uperfect product. I have a 15.6 Qled 500 nits 1080p which is great and still running strong on my desktop set up. Very nice color production and brightness. Coming back to this particular product. It is big, light, easy to set up and still very portable, it just that it has 350 nits of brightness instead of 450 nits. Looking at the product description, it states that it has 450 nits of brightness and 120hz refresh rate. The refresh rate of 120hz is accurate but the brightness isn't. It only have 350 nits according to the manual included in the box. Comparing my older Uperfect Qled with 500 nits is brighter and color reproduction of qled vs. ips is a big difference. I will use it for my ROG Ally and I need a better refresh rate than 60hz. It is still bright but not as bright and color reproduction of Uperfect Qled is very accurate. I contacted Uperfect customer service and have communication with Sophia. Great communications, she understood what was my issue with the product description not being accurate and suggested a compromise. Don't get me wrong, the monitor is very nice but what sold me is the brightness stated in the product description. She states that they will correct the product description soon for better description of the particular item. Uperfect stand with their product and that is why I choose them again for another portable monitor for my needs. After this very positive experience with Sophia, Uperfect customer service. I am looking forward of getting another product from them but will go with a Qled instead of IPS and maybe 2k resolution is in order, just waiting for the up coming prime days again. My initial experience with this monitor was horrible because it came defective. As I have said before, I still own and really love the smaller version of this monitor which is 18" 2K delivering 144Hz refresh rate. Because my eyes are getting older, I needed a bigger monitor but one that I can use for work as well. When I saw this product, I knew that I found the one. Compact and portable, and light enough if I need to travel with it. But when it came defective, I was disheartened. Then UPerfect came through for me. They sent a replacement product and I just received it today. One thing is for sure, the vertical lines are gone. The screen is flawless, no dead pixels. BUT the down side to all of this was it kept flickering, turning on and off, and it would cycle through this endless. Sophia from Uperfect helped out as much as she can, but it all seemed futile. I was about ready to give up. Everything was connected properly using the cables that came with the product, including the power adapter. Nothing would work. I even used my own HDMI cable which was rated at 8K 60Hz, 4k 240Hz. It did not solve anything. My eureka moment happened when I went into the settings. I saw the "Freesync" toggle and turned it on. Mind you, my laptop has two GPUs - one is an onboard AMD GPU and the other an RTX 5080. When the monitor is connected via USB-C, the AMD GPU takes control. On the other hand, the RTX 5080 is only via the HDMI port. Anyway, when I turned on the monitor toggle for Freesync, everything stabilized. For the life of me, I never thought that this setting would work with the RTX 5080. But it does! Now that everything seems to be in order, I am definitely a happy camper!

This is a fantastic 1080p monitor that gives you options to power it using a single USB-C cable connected to your laptop to deliver power and data or use an additional USB-C cable through an outlet to solely deliver power. If you opt for the former, the monitor will be dimmer since the single USB-C cable is providing power and data, so your best experience is definitely going to be when you have the second USB-C cable to deliver power. The monitor itself is lightweight so it's quite easy to carry it around (recommend you use a case) and even fit in a backpack along with your laptop to take it with you on the go. The stand is built-in, so it gives you a quick and easy way to stand the monitor up for it to be used. With all this, the build quality on this is very good. For the monitor performance, the color and brightness representation is great for a portable monitor and text was mostly easy to read, with the exceptions of some Webex meetings that involved very tiny text which is just the nature of a 1080p monitor for which their 4k monitors would address. There is a myriad of settings you can play around with whether that's contrast, brightness, enabling other modes to get the monitor to display to your preference. Also, I want to call out the quick responsive customer service. I did have an intermittent issue that caused the screen to go black and flicker, so I reached out to them via email. They responded within a few hours, and I was able to work with them on some basic troubleshooting. After the basic troubleshooting didn't work out, they made it right very quickly by just offering to send me replacement and avoid all the remaining hoops of troubleshooting. I got the replacement in just a couple of days, and it's been working great for me since. The product is great and the customer service is top notch, and I would have no hesitation buying from this brand again as they stand behind their products.

I like this monitor for having a normal HDMI and not just a HDMI mini, it's slim and very portable! Thing is it doesn't have a case, I didn't know I could get a free case until the company messaged me about how I like my product, they pointed me in the direction to get a free case by emailing the customer support email on the back of the instructions of the product and gave me a PDF version in the message for my convenience which was nice, after emailing the support email, I got a response quickly about how to get my free case, which is to provide an address, and in addition to the free case as a separate offer in the same email, to be in their VIP club to try out other products. I declined the second offer as I have too much stuff already that I don't want to add to the pile, and expressed that I am only interested in the free case. There was no response after that until about two days and I was told that they had a weekend that they came back from. It was a little misleading as the page the email was listed on said it was 24hrs, (picture in this review), immediately they said they sent the free case that will come within two days and apologized for not responding sooner because of their weekend, so that was nice. I gave this product 4 stars because of the little bit of a hassle to get the free case, if you're going to have a free case, just include it in the product box! The other monitor I had and returned from a different company had a free case included and I liked that, I returned the other monitor because it only had HDMI mini and it advertised that it had HDMI not specifying mini only! The monitor from UPERFECT, when I first turned it on had a brighter spot on it near the top right, but quickly paned out as I played my game. (It was probably cases by the monitor before shipping being stored in a position not natural for the screen to handle before turning it on). The sound is fair, it does have a headphone jack, I just let the sound come from the monitor's speakers when playing my game. Over all I feel it's a good purchase and great for a gaming personal space!

NOTE: This is a review for the "UPERFECT Portable Monitor 18.5 inch 100HZ". Many reviews on this product page reference other UPERFECT portable monitors and as such don't align with the features of this monitor. For starters, this monitor does not come with a fold-over tablet-style cover that converts to a stand. Instead, it has an integrated kickstand, which is higher quality (more on that below). As such, this 18.5 monitor does not come with a cover at all. If you plan to take it in a suitcase, you'll probably want to get something to wrap around it. I bring this up, simply because the description of this product does not say it has a cover but many questions/answers and reviews from Amazon contributors say that it does. This, again, is because many reviews and Q&A on this page reference different monitors that do have that cover. I'm reviewing the product as-described by UPERFECT... I'm not docking it for not having a cover, because they don't advertise it as such. Cover - Is the lack of a cover for this 18.5 a big deal? For me, I do need a cover. However, this is such a great monitor at a reasonable price that having to find a way to protect it in-transit is a minor and acceptable trade-off. 18.5 - Wow. This is a game-changer for me. I used to use a similar (different brand) 15.6 portable monitor. That's been great when I am traveling for work, because I have the type of job where it's a major drag to try to get anything done on a single laptop screen. The extra space on this monitor makes doing work from a desk in a hotel that much better. Brightness - My old (other brand) 15.6 was fairly dim. White pages looked pretty yellow. I made that work and it was fine. But this 18.5 monitor can go very bright, honestly, I think it's brighter than my laptop screen. Kickstand - The integrated kickstand on the 18.5 is vastly superior to the convertible cover-stand concept in most other portable monitors. The kickstand is solid and provides a wide range of angle setups. This is a big improvement over the tablet-style convertible cover/stand, which only provides one fixed angle. VESA Mounting - This is a nice feature, allowing this 18.5 monitor to be used in a home office as a third monitor, including vertically, and then easily taken down for travel when needed. This effectively expands the uses for this monitor. Ports - I also note that the USB-C and Mini HDMI ports are on the left side of this 18.5 monitor. Many others have them on the right. I always use my travel monitor on the right side of my laptop (to preserve my laptop screen as the 'home' with the portable monitor extending to the right). To me, this is the logical and natural configuration. Having the ports on the left of the portable monitor is much better. Extended/Duplicated Displays - Using Windows 10, my other (different brand) 15.6 potable monitor is unable to be duplicated to an external display. However, this 18.5 portable does that perfectly. In preparation for this review, I did a test to make sure I wasn't seeing things. Explanation: When I'm on the road, sometimes I need to connect to a larger projector or TV in a conference room via HDMI. In this setup, I have my laptop connected to the portable monitor and the TV or projector connected via HDMI. What I want and expect is to be able to setup my display settings so that my portable monitor in front of me on the table is duplicated onto the TV/projector that everyone in the room can see. This 18.5 monitor can support that setup. My other (different brand) monitor could not. I'm sure most can, but this one for-sure can. Bottom line: I'm very pleased with this UPERFECT Portable Monitor 18.5 inch 100HZ.

No surprise trip to Amazon for a cable they "forgot" to include. They thought of everything, and I didn't have to spend an extra cent to make it usable out of the box. Bottom Line If you work across multiple screens, travel with your work, or game on the go, this is an easy recommendation. Honestly, consider buying two: a matched pair of these transforms a desk, and I'd happily buy anything UPERFECT makes at this point. They've earned a repeat customer, and they'll earn your trust too. Buy it. Then buy a second one!!

I had been extremely happy with this UPERFECT 24-inch QLED portable monitor. The display quality is excellent, the colors are vibrant, and it worked flawlessly for several months. Unfortunately, my unit unexpectedly developed horizontal lines across the screen and stopped displaying any image. While this was disappointing, what really impressed me was the customer service. I contacted UPERFECT support, provided a video of the issue, and they responded quickly, professionally, and courteously. After reviewing the evidence, they approved a warranty replacement without requiring me to return the defective monitor, making the whole process simple and hassle-free. Electronic devices can occasionally fail unexpectedly, and what truly matters is how a company stands behind its products. In my experience, UPERFECT’s customer service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend both the monitor and the company for their commitment to their customers.

I have always found multiple monitors to increase my productivity when I'm at my desk. However, as an IT consultant I am often deployed to client sites for strategy meetings or proposal writing. My work involves spreadsheets, presentations, and lots of copying/merging of documents. So having a portable monitor (or two in my cases) on the road is enormously helpful. For a few years now, I have travelled with 2 15.6" monitors in addition to my laptop. I use two for my "working" spaces and the third I use in split-screen mode for my email and messaging applications so i don't miss important communications. While I do look like a total nerd, the setup never fails to impress my colleagues and clients. In fact, each time I visit a new client, someone gets so excited about my setup that they ask me where I got my screens and the price and by the end of the day they have ordered at least one. On the last trip, three people ordered screens (no joke). I have used a few different brands of monitors on the road. But last year I switched over to Uperfect. One is a 15.6" touchscreen model which is great for hands-on demonstrations. and the other is the standard 15.6" model. I really like them for a few reasons: 1) I hate when cables stick out of the sides. The inputs are recessed so they don't interfere with close arrangement of the monitors next to my laptop. 2) They are much thinner and lighter than other brands I have used and two fit easily along with my laptop in my backpack. Going through airport security is not that much of a hassle either. I grab all three with one hand. 3) The Uperfect customer service is unbelievable. I just ordered a 18.5" model when the stock was low and they reached out to me immediately to let me know there might be a delay while they restock. I had a few exchanges with them through Amazon and online and they responded very quickly. They apologized for the inconvenience and then it still arrived on time! Now I have connected the monitor to my home office as an additional monitor below my two main widescreen monitors. It is replacing my glossy 15.6" screen. The brightness is great, the text is sharp, and the matte finish is ideal for my workspace since I sit next to a bright window so no glare. I have decided that it works so well for me that I'm going to purchase another for the road. In short, this monitor is great and so is the seller. I highly recommend buying this monitor especially if you travel. It is totally worth it. Thank you Uperfect for your great customer support and your great monitor. Writing this review while using the monitor. Very satisfied with the quality of the monitor, both in build quality as well as the colors and brightness of the screen. large size while staying portable, and the 120hz is great while gaming! I was also impressed by the great customer service, fast and helpful.

I purchased 2 of these monitors and absolutely love them, I travel a lot so perfect with the light weight and the service is quick too and. Experience with uperfect is perfect, I’d be buying my next gear from them again in the future. Purchased a bag for protection during travel.

Excellent upgrade over earlier models. Pros: - Upgrade over previous model: with nicer looking glossy screen, monitor settings that remained instead of resetting with each power off, better material, built-in kick stand - Excellent customer support - high refresh rate - accutrate colour profile - light and portable - touchscreen - great value for the features Cons: - brightness still on the lower side - adjustment of settings using the dial a bit finicky and - not sure if adjustment dial would last (last monitor, dial fell off around 1 year and I didn't use it regularly)

The display is really good and crisp perfect for both gaming and work just a little disappointed with screen flickering when you connect only with type-c display output you need to plug in the adapter for smoothless experience

This is my second time purchasing a uPerfect monitor. The first one was 17” and this is the next bigger size that becomes available recently. The 18.5” is large monitor yet still portable. A single USB-C from MacBook Pro can power it and as DP port as well. Speaker is functional and kickstand is sturdy. Ideally a 4K monitor but at this price point, the balance of price and features is great.
