I'm looking to replace the stock fan in a dell sff computer for something more effective at cooling. how does this compare a standard "stock" fan?

You will need an adapter for Dell's 5-pin, 4-wire fan headers.

What is the CFM rating?

50.4 m³/h from the company website https://noctua.at/en/products/fan/nf-a8-flx/specification 29.49 cfm

Does this fan have 6 pins?

The fan has 4 pins. It also comes with 3 additional cables: 1 is an extender, another is a Y for connecting to additional fan(s), and another is a "low noise" adapter which can be used to cap the speed at 900 RPM even if the motherboard PWM speed control is demanding higher RPMs.

Can i install to this enclosure? https://www.amazon.com/mediasonic-probox-hf2-su3s2-sata-enclosure/dp/b003x26vv4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=utf8&qid=1501279093&sr=

might work, but we can't say for sure. Please ask the manufacturer, if a 12V fan works http://noctua.at/en/products/cpu-cooler-retail.html?faq_view=72
