Works great
I bought this for my husband. We have a classic car restoration shop and this is a perfect addition to the paint shop area.My husband loves it and says it works great.

So far so good.
Secured it to my main table made from 4x4's using lags. Creates quite a rattle and the paint cans get looser the longer they go. Using the recommended shake times work fine, but don't let it go longer or you might lose a can.Setup was easy, but I am worried about the acrylic oil cylinder breaking one day. I made sure to install this unit so the air ingress is facing away from traffic areas and I ensured the hose is attached in as stress free a way as possible. I'm not sure how I could replace that part if it broke.

Works Great!!!
Well I’ve had this paint shaker for a year and a half and I do not use it every single day. I am not using it every day like a automotive body shop would. I restore airplanes. The first paint shaker I had probably had a total of five hours and it blown out the O-ring on the piston. So I replaced the O-ring and it worked great but it only lasted maybe another hour or so after I replaced the O ring. So I called Amazon and told them what had happened and they said that it was past the 90 days for return. BUT someone pulled a few strings and they ended up letting me return it and I ordered a new one just like it. The new one works great so far. 😁👍🏼

Desing flaw - extremely disappointed
Thinking the unit may not have been fully greased at the factory, prior to mounting it I bought a grease gun and tried to grease it. There are two grease lubrication fittings and both are the Zerk type. One is inside the housing, accessed through the hole you see on the topside, and recessed nearly 2". Though the motor shaft can be manipulated to get this Zerk fitting beneath the access hole, it won't line up directly under it. With some effort I managed to attach the grease gun nozzle to this Zerk but afterwards couldn't detach the nozzle. I found several websites addressing this problem and one very good YouTube demonstration at <[...]>. A straight pull will not detach the nozzle, one must twist and turn it down into the two o'clock position and then pull it off. The small diameter access hole in the housing doesn't allow for it and restricts nozzle detachment to nearly a straight pull. I then detached the entire paint can holder component to get it out of the way. A very strong buddy and I used blocks of wood and still couldn't get the nozzle off. The access method for this Zerk is a severe design flaw. I finally had to use a pry bar from the underside to get it off and returned the paint shaker to Amazon. I'm wondering why none of the other reviewers mention this issue. Either they know something I don't or just haven't tried to lub the Zerk inside the housing????

Works well, easy to use.
I bought this to mix paints that have been sitting around for a while, and it works really well. I've attached an oiler in the line and grease the main joint as indicated. It does have to be screwed down or it will bounce all over... as it is it does make my heavy work table "walk".Great bang for the buck!(I also used to it mix a jar of tahini that had separated and it worked well, although I'm not sure of the dangers of shaking a glass jar).
