I work in the pool maintenance industry. Yes, they saved me from slipping. For that reason it gets 4 stars. As far as comfort... They were a bit tight on the toes especially the pinky toes. I don't ever buy "Wide" but in these shoes that probably would be a better option for me. Another thing... I got them 05/25/2020 at the time of this review, 07/15/2020, I decided that I am no longer wearing these. They have deteriorated (no longer waterproof), they are too tight (yes it's very uncomfortable) and well... put those 2 together and it's time for new shoes! Might have been the water that always gets on them (because of chlorine maybe) but it did not meet my needs.

I got these two years ago. They lasted 2 years. They're comfortable, they don't look terrible, worth the price. Giving 4 stars not 5 just to seem genuine

I had slipped on a wet tile floor and fell on my hip - fortunately, didn't break it but is was a wake up call for an older man. After I got these, I tested them by wearing one of them and one of my old shoes. I poured a little water on my tile floor and tested the each shoe in turn - the old shoe was like being on slick ice while I couldn't even tell that the floor was wet with the new shoe - perfect traction right where I'd slipped before! If you're getting older, don't wait for a fall - get some good slip resistant shoes now.

I’ve had these shoes for 6 months already and they are not even worn down yet and I haven’t even almost slipped yet great shoe will buy again
