Nothing deliver yet again. A great set of headphones for the money!
I'd been looking for new wireless headphones for a while and didn't hesitate to give these a shot when I saw them. I bought a set of Nothing Ear (a) in-ear buds last year and was so impressed I bought another set so I can use one while the others are charging. I won't need to buy a second pair of these as the battery life is phenomenal. A heavy day of listening with LDAC and NC enabled, for me, only eats up about 10-15%. So I'm anticipating they'll only need charging once a week with daily heavy use. Sound quality is as good as it gets for under ยฃ150. Not audiophile, but very good, especially if you take the time to tweak the 8 band parametric EQ in the app. There's also a simplified EQ for those who don't want the faff. Bass enhancement is also there - which works well - upping the bass heft without totally obliterating mids and highs. The sound stage is also surprisingly quite wide for closed-back headphones, especially at this price, with decent separation and clarity. I regularly use a pair of wired Sennheiser DT770 Pro's (the studio legends) and in side-by-side testing the Headphone (a)'s more or less held their own - and that's some high praise when you consider they're bluetooth, not wired. Speaking of the app. In short, you'll not find a better companion app anywhere. It's certainly the best I've ever seen. Sony, Bose, etc should definitely take note and up their game. Genuinely useful features all beautifully laid out in Nothing's customary elegant styling. The headphones themselves are very well built. Solid and sturdy with the impression that they're gonna last. The design is probably in the "marmite" category - you'll either love 'em or hate 'em. Personally I love them - something a bit different to the somewhat generic styling you find pretty much anywhere else at this price. My only slight grumble is that I wish the padding on the headband was just a couple of mm deeper - it's fine and they are comfortable to wear, but after a long session you'll know you've been wearing them. The ears pads are soft and spacious - probably the most comfortable I've experienced on any set of headphones. The controls are physical, tactile buttons. Well, a roller, a paddle and a button, to be more precise, and they work superbly well and feel very premium. Roll the roller for volume up and down, press it to play & pause, or long-press to alternate between noise cancelling and transparency modes. Flip the mini paddle for next and previous track. The button defaults to launching your phone's smart assistant, but it's function can be changed in the app to select an alternate EQ pre-set, mic mute, or even your phone's camera shutter. Noise cancelling, whilst not class-leading, is actually very good. And transparency mode works well if you need to hear more of the environment around you whilst listening to your tunes. Overall, a very good set of headphones, especially when you consider the price. Comfortable, decent sounding with solid noise cancelling, a unique design, solid construction and a terrific companion app. I'd go as far to say you'd probably struggle to find anything better at this price.

You won't be returning these!
These are awesome. Really clear and sound great. Works seamlessly with the Nothing phone which has a great audio set up. Weight is good. Hardly noticed wearing them and the noise cancelling is excellent. Quality feel to them and they look striking, rather than being a sheep like the rest. Fits Great on my head and soft touch with real metal parts. Great price too.

Brilliant
Incredibly solid headphones, sound quality is amazing, it looks great and I've received a couple compliments on them already. Very easy to set up, pretty much a connect and it works situation with the option to mess around with the eq if you wish. The metal ear cups feel high quality and durable, and the adjustment is linear rather than happening in steps, allowing for a great fit for most head sizes

Great sound, poor material for the ear cups.
These are fantastic headphones, even switched off, the fitting is great and cancels some noise. The connection is fast and reliable, sound is excellent. My only gripe is the PU ear textile, along with the headband, these will degrade through oils, and sweat. Invest in some of the silicone covers, they will preserve the life.

a LOT to desire from Nothing
never one to jump at the chance to review an item but these headphones from nothing deserve the praise. incredibly comfy, sturdy and look so cool! they sound great straight out of the box but the nothing x app is must download; allowing you to play around with the eq, bass and frequency allowing you to make the sound so much more diverse and cater to your personal preferrence. the battery life is incredible and the acn is so good! couldnโt recommend them enough for the price, a must buy if youโre looking at exceptional value for mid-range affordability. 5*

Very well thought out set of headphones
Update: I love these headphones, the Bluetooth is fabulous. Been wearing them every day on my digger and you hardly hear the machine. When you answer a phone call with a backpack blower on the caller can't even here the machine. Wow. The buttons are great and Google AI works just from your voice. I initially bought these because they had some weather resistance to them and they were the only pair that I could find. I work as a gardener using loud machinery and mowers. The noise cancellation is as good if not better than my AirPods and Samsung earbuds. The app for Android is well thought out and you can custom your hearing ability in the app which is a lovely touch. For me the sound quality is perfect there is a very slight muffling on some of the tones but I think this could be down to the weatherproofing of the unit whereas the bose and Sony don't have this option so there sound might be clearer. I don't think this is an issue at all and for the average person in the street these are a perfect set of overear headphones. The one thing I was very surprised about as I listened to the developer talking about these headphones before I bought them and they commented about the placement of the switches and how to use them saying they'd put a lot of thought into these, well I can 100% agree that these are the most logical and easy to use buttons and switches I have ever had on the set of headphones so for this I commend them highly. I also took out Amazon insurance on them as I will be using them outside all year and generally aware my earpods for at least 8 hours each day so these will be very nice not having to have them in my ear. The long and short of it is yes I can highly recommend these overear headphones

Nothing Headphone (a)
The initial unboxing experience of these headphones is exceptional, presenting a visually appealing design. Included with the headphones are a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable for wired connectivity and non-Bluetooth devices, along with a branded carrying pouch. Connection to the headphones is swift and straightforward, facilitated by Google Fast Pair. The battery life is remarkable, consistently performing through daily use without requiring a recharge. The controls are intuitive and user-friendly, maintaining simplicity without unnecessary complexity. The noise cancellation performance is commendable, particularly given its price point. Furthermore, the headphones offer superior comfort, allowing for extended wear without discomfort. Overall, these headphones represent excellent value for their cost.

Aesthetically pleasing, low sound, heavy headset
Aesthetically pleasing looking headphones with good ANC. Ideal for indoor listening. Outdoors is ok however for me the sound was quite low. Comfortable for short periods of time as they are quite heavy.

Drop-shipped from somewhere in Hong Kong
Headphones are great, but I bought them from Amazon Germany, and they were marked as "Ships from Amazon Germany" .. They were direct drop-shipped from somewhere in Hong Kong. Need to be more up front.

Wow (Edited after 2 months use)
Below is my original review and I stand by everything I wrote. However, with some fiddling, I have improved the sound a bit to my liking. The first thing I did was enable the LDAC codec. I was unaware when I purchased these that I could do so. It provides a better baseline for the music to begin tinkering with EQ settings. I also bumped up the streaming quality of the music to its highest level before "lossless". And the third thing I did was install the app (sorry....I HATE apps), and refined the curve to my hearing limitations. I get that these are not audiophile level headphones, but I didn't pay for that. I paid for solid and enjoyable and I received that in spades. I love the physical controls... the vol wheel (LOVE it) and the paddle selector (LOVE it). The range of the bluetooth connection is truly impressive. I can be on the other side of our house from the phone and it's still connected without cutting in/out. Are they a bit heavy? Yep. Are they a tad tight? Yep. Noted. But again, I have worn these for a couple of hours straight without any issue. The ear pads comfortably cover my ears and do not cause them to heat up from pressure or friction. Now.....I did get these at the $239 price when they were being promoted, so understand that that is where my price/value perspective is from. I do not use them when working outside or during work outs. I know they have the whole sweat/water resistance thing going on, but they are too heavy for me compared to a $50 pair I own and that I don't mind getting dirty and nasty. Besides, when I'm mowing or edging or cutting etc...I'm not in "fine sound delivery" mode. I use these when I want to kick back and enjoy what I'm listening to and am able to pick out the little detailed nuances that make the music ......... mmmmmmm..... more of a treat. So, that's my update after owning these for a couple of months and using them quite a bit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Simply....wow. I haven't done anything except pair them and put them on. No equalizer fiddling, no anything. The pairing was flawless and as quick as any device I've ever paired. The fit is extremely comfortable. I've had them on for over an hour and they are not causing any discomfort with the ears or the head. I took a phone call while listening to music on my phone and the clarity is pretty good. Switching from music to phone to music again was no issue. The noise cancelling was pretty cool. I could not hear myself talking at normal volume. There is a little bit of "stepping on" each other if trying to talk at the same time. The musical sound is great for a pair of headphones at this price point. Clear, not tinny or muddy. Bass is not obnoxious nor is it a background feature. It's crisp, if you can call bass crisp. The sound stage is not totally enveloping, but it's encompassing enough to fill itself. Not sure that makes sense, but it's the only way I know to describe it. Will I fiddle with the settings? You bet. But at first listen, these are definite keepers. Never heard of the company before, but I am impressed.

Buy These IMMEDIATELY!!!
I'm 57 and over the years I've owned many headphones, both wired and wireless. Bose, Sony, Sennheiser, Apple, you name it. I always felt that they never really compared to listening to music through good speakers. The best sound from headphones I had were from the Air pods Pro Max, but the noise canceling stopped working on it. I just recently purchased a high-end set or wired headphones (Fosi Audio i5) as well as their DAC Headphone Amp (Fosi Audio ZH3) and they are the BEST I have ever heard. But together they cost about $750, and they are open back, so everyone around you can hear what you are listening to. They are great for home use, but not for public use. So, I needed to buy something to replace my Air pods Pro Max, and this seemed like it would fit the bill. It went on sale for $179 so I pulled the trigger. Boy, am I glad I did. Out of the box, the sound of these (to me anyway) was on par, maybe slightly better than the Air pods Pro Max. The bass was punchy and tight, mids were clear, and the highs were superb without being fatiguing. I saw that there was a firmware update, but I wanted to play some music first to see if I would hear a difference. The firmware update surprisingly did make an audible improvement to the sound. Even tighter and deeper base stood out. The app is simple to use and very powerful. There are two ways to adjust equalization. A basic one where you adjust Bass, Mid, and Treble, or a more advanced one that simulates an 8 band equalizer. There is also bass boost and spatial audio settings. It's a wonderful app. I use the basic EQ, Bass +2, Mid-1, Treble +3 and sounds FANTASTIC. Are they as good as my $750 Fosi Audio setup. No. But I would say they are maybe 75% of the way there, for 1/4 of the cost. They are better than any other set of headphones I have ever owned though. The headphones are lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Even though they are lightweight, they seem pretty durable, but time will tell. I got the white ones, and I think they look sharp. Very modern. It also comes with a USB-C cable, a 1/8" wired connection cable, and even a carrying bag. At $199 they are a fantastic buy, at $179 they are a STEAL! I cannot recommend these any more highly. A great set of headphones!
