Bahlsen Leibniz Milk Chocolate Cookies, 4.4-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 12)

I had a problem with my order in that it somehow was never shipped based on tracking information from courier, but stuff happens. The seller responded to my issue with good customer service, and all is well that ends well. Moving on to the important matter -- quality of the product. These are VERY GOOD cookies -- made in Germany with high-quality, tastey ingredients (not so healthy for you, as many desserts are, so must exercise self-control & ration yourself to small portions). My box of 12 boxes expires 10/31/2019 -- 11+ months from the date I received, so they are VERY FRESH & GOOD! I will buy these again, but one problem is that the price just increased 9.4% which will cause me to look for an equally satisfying substitute treat/dessert.

The chocolate was old and discolored. Took a long time to ship.

These are excellent tasting cookies when they are fresh but these were a little on the stale side. I bought them online to get a better price than the grocery store but I don't think the trade-off for stale cookies is worth the few extra cent savings. Perhaps it was just this vendor because I've purchased these online before and they were as fresh as the store but it's such a gamble to know what your're getting. And how do you send them back after you've opened the box to taste them? These are expensive cookies - discount or not - so they should arrive fresh.

Took a chance on these based on the sellers ratings and my having prime so two day delivery, no issues with melted chocolate, as good as they always were, nice hard snap and crunchy and packed very well since they come as they would to a store in a display box and seller added cardboard covering so that none of the boxes would move and then put it in a nice tight box. Dated good till/sell by 12/31/18, so I'm happy with purchase and seller. If you've never tried these you should, the butter biscuit/cookie topped with a chocolate layer on top is a combination sure to please anyone, make a good substitute for smores!
