We installed this floor padding under our new liner. It does make a difference in the feel of the pool floor. It also made installing the liner easier as the liner slid over the padding easily. The pad is a felt-like material and was thinner than I expected but it worked out nicely. We have a 27' x 54" above ground pool and it fit nicely with a little bit of material to go up the walls about an inch or so. We ordered the 27' round size. So far happy with the purchase. I think it will help the liner last longer as it isn't against the sand under the pool. For us it was worth the money. We gave our 15 year old pool an upgrade with a new liner, this padding, and the foil bubble insulation on the walls. It turned out very nice! I can't comment on the durability since we just installed it a few weeks ago.

The liner pad we ordered to put under our round pool was specifically ordered in the oval shape to be doubled when we put it down. So far - after months of pool use - it has held up to the hot summer pretty well and has prevented any issues typical of having an above ground pool placed in a desert landscaped hot southern Nevada back yard. It was really easy to lay it out, but the material isn't has heavy duty as I'd hoped. The description pretty much convinced me this product would be heavy duty enough - but I'm VERY glad I listened and bought the oval large enough to be doubled and then trimmed accordingly. Without that, I'd have probably returned the liner for being too lightweight. The durability seems to be holding up to 2 large adults and 1 large teen spending time in the pool - nothing noted under the liner trying to grow through, but it wasn't placed on an area where grass or other items were previously. If the liner pad needs replaced in the future, I'd probably do the same thing - so for economics, this pad works well.

Great quality, fit perfectly

Thank heavens I had bought a round tarp and this liner for our new pool. The ground cloth that came with my Intex was defective and had missing areas. This liner and my old tarp saved the day! I would definitely get it. Seems awfully expensive for what it is but so does everything else now. Not sure on durability as this is first use.

No much more than a large tarp. Much thinner than expected.

The material is very thick and soft underfoot. I feel confident it will extend the life of our 24 foot round liner. We had debated on buying the flooring underlayment at first, but I am so glad we decided to spend a little extra for this! No cutting, measuring, or taping. Literally unfold it. There were no wrinkles in the material and the liner laid on top of it smoothly without shifting around. Highly recommend!!!

It does it job well under the pool! And it's soft to the touch!

It worked for what we needed it for. But I don't think its worth the price. It could be a little thicker than what it was.

I am quite satisfied with this product. I like the soft feeling under the liner, it seems to feel warm. I am wondering though, even though we did have it quite flat when we placed the liner on top, there seems to be a few wrinkles in the liner, since adding the water. Not sure how this is possible, but no big deal.It is a bit thinner than I thought it would be.

Looks like it will make a good liner ase for pool. Wont have a full test until 2022
