Among The Stars The Ambassadors Game

This game is a lot of fun for two reasons: 1) You can play it uber competitively and go for MAX POINTS EVER! 2) You can play it casually and just see who can build the coolest station In short, its great to play with the family or wife, as you can mix it up based on the night. The game is a lot like 7 wonders. Each player starts the "year" with 6 tiles. They play one tile, then pass it along. Each tile scores points, costs money, and may alter the rules. Its simple, but nice and easy to play. Also, there is an official 2-player version that my wife and I play frequently, and it lends itself well to both play styles as well. Not as clean as a 3-4 player game, but highly enjoyable nonetheless.

Great game. Great alternative to 7 Wonders. As my subject says though, don't be deceived. This expansion does not allow for up to 6 people. That is the 2nd expansion, expanding the universe, despite Amazon's description.

This adds a slight level of complexity to AMONG THE STARS to improve the fun factor immensely.

Great game, but requires a lot of table space.

I really like the game, the cards are well done and I find this type of game extremely FUN. The base set is only for 4 players which is the only thing I don't like. There are some expansions that increase player amount to 6.

This is the expansion that will take the simple core game to the next level. Experienced players will likely want more from the core game after playing it one or two times. The Ambassadors expansion will add a new level of conflict and special abilities through the recruitment of ambassadors to your space-station. If you are an avid gamer, I would recommend adding Ambassadors right away to the purchase of the core game as you'll likely be ordering it soon after anyway.

I don't know what to say, the box I opened was filled with 2 small ziploc bags with Yu-Gi-Oh cards and a third with some mancala stones. It was definitely the Stronghold Games/Artipia Games box, and I bought it with the expanding the alliance pack which was exactly the product... But yeah... Just Yu-Gi-Oh cards... I can't believe that I'm writing this Review.
