Who needs hydraulic disc brakes?
I prefer these mechanical dual piston calipers over hydraulics. I can use my existing v-brake levers. Easy to install and adjust. Works great after initial bedding in of the brake pads. Smooth and quiet. No drag. Stops as well as hydraulics.

Falls apart
Bought these last year & was able to ride a handful of times before the cable end popped out from the bracket during a ride. Lost the ability to stop & had to swerve to avoid crashing into oncoming traffic.

Vast improvement over stock cheap calipers.
Used this to upgrade the stock calipers on my electric bike (20" aluminum folder) conversion. Using 3 to 4 fingers to stop the bike with the stock calipers and now I'm back to using 2 to 3 fingers depending on speed (35 mph max indicated). 1 star minus for lack of pad adjustment other than shortening or lengthening the cable. Still a vast improvement over the stock calipers.

Not worth 80, but a good caliper
Dual pistons not always needed, mechanical advantage is the same as a single piston mechanical caliper, so the braking force is similar.
