Perfect for me. Just what I was looking for.
Great little lamp for my study needs. I wanted something cordless and portable; illumination for a broader surface; and a design that didn't overstate itself. This is a streamlined, lightweight, sleek lamp. It is not metal, just colored plastic.I didn’t want 300 options for lighting colors and intensity, as that wasn’t necessary to me. The 3 brightness options are more than sufficient and very comfortable for my eyes. The head is nicely flexible 180 degrees, if need be.I wanted a stable base, which this lamp has, and it won’t slide, staying where you put it—thanks to the grip-stripping around the outline of the underside of the base. The angle of the lamp from its base doesn’t interfere with my books.I didn’t want a lamp size too tall. This lamp shines on my books, not in my eyes, and illuminates my work area nicely.Lastly, I ordered the gold color, which is truly gold and not pink, thankfully.My search ended and my wishes were gratified when I received this lamp.But there is one issue: I can’t figure out how to fold the base back in like it was when it arrived in the box. I’m afraid I’ll break it. But, if I can figure out how to fold it up, that’s another plus. I can take this lamp with me anywhere, and charging will be a breeze. I’ve not had any issues with a short battery-life.

Great for dictionary stand.
I keep a dictionary on a stand by my bed so I can look up words I don't know when reading in bed. The ceiling lamp is behind me as I look at the dictionary so it is of little use. This lamp is perfect for my needs. I think it would work great on a podium or lectern that didn't already have lighting.

Effective lighting for a small workplace.
The light is perfect for a small desk. Three light levels give good light for writing or decorative lighting. Charging with USB port is efficient and battery charge lasts long enough for several hours work. The design is modern and attractive. It is well made, not a cheap plastic toy.

Very bright
It was exactly as expected except the one I received had a folding base instead of the one piece base in the picture. I use it next to my computer monitor to shine extra light onto the keyboard when needed. It is more than bright enough for this purpose.

Looks sleek and does the job
Just arrived and so far I like it. It's sleek, very lightweight (plastic but appears to be metal in the picture), and looks decent sitting on the table. It has a light touch button for different brightness levels. Good for reading a book at the table. I like the design. Still have to see whether it holds up to use and lights up a bigger area, for example when you have at least two books open - a textbook and a notebook. I will report back.

Great Light.
I have had this light for a month or more and it is just what I needed. I can move it around the house when the power goes out because it has a battery or just keep it plugged in with the USB. The top also moves so I can keep the light out of my eyes. Love it.

Needs recharging too often.
Love design except a bit hard to open/close. Light is good/adequate (not sure why there are 3 settings). The issue I have is the light doesn't last very long. Needs to be recharged after <20 minutes.

Lighting when you don't have an outlet nearby!
Cool design. Perfect for my contemporary design. My desk is floating in my room so there's no outlet nearby. Problem solved with this lamp.
