Men's Primal 2 Black Sneaker

I have many pairs of Lems shoes, I have bunions and these are so great and so comfortable, with wide toe box, and I love walking in them, because of zero drop I feel I am making my feet and legs stronger and better, I can feel the pavement beneath with my toes. I love the barefoot or minimalist concept, makes sense to me, that our feet are genetically programed to walk barefoot and any cushioning or raising one part of the foot higher in shoes is bad for our body, throws it off. I will never wear heels again, well on stage I guess, I am an actress and just die when I have to put on even character shoes with 2 or 3 inch heels. Ug. I just got a new pair of bolder boots which were on sale.

I had to return these as they were way too big. I went by their size chart on their website. Since I had to pay shipping both to receive and return them I was not going to take a chance on an exchange fitting correctly since I would have to pay again to return them.

These shoes are minimalist shoes that offer no arch support so please keep that in mind. This is my first time in shoes like these that are supposed to be roomier in the toes box. While they are roomier and allow your forefoot to splay as nature intended, my extremely wide high volume (Size 9.5 EEEE) foot still has the toes touching the outer edges with my big toe and pinky toe. I used a non conventional lacing system in the forefoot to allow more room for my feet and it does helpI have suffered with shoe problems my whole life as narrower tapered toe box shoes have been the only types of shoes predominately available. With the suggestion of a natural approach from my podiatrist, (I'm suffering from functional Hallux Limitus in my right big toe and severe ankle sprains) I'm giving these a go. So far after wearing them after a full day they have broken in nicely. What I like is that my toes can now spread more and offer me more stability as I walk. These shoes are the closest I've ever felt to being barefoot and I love being barefoot! The weight of each shoe is phenomenal! Almost feels like you don't have any shoes on...that's how light they are. I wish that the big box brands would ditch their narrow platforms and adopt this natural approach with zero drop, non tapered toes, and no toe spring.I giving them a 4 star for now since I feel the toebox for my foot could be a touch wider and since there isn't much to these shoes, shouldn't they be cheaper??? I will update later how the construction longevity is in the future...but so far it's looking good

Other things was okay but the heel cup was not enough shaped to hold my heel. So when walking, I got constant hell slip.

Great barefoot shoe. Looks stylish. Takes some getting used to. After 1 month still get slight pain in the ball of my foot with power walks over 4 miles in length. Very happy with purchase

Shoes came along w/ANOTHER pair I did not order. Too large and having trouble w/a timely exchange. Very disappointed

I would give it a 5 if it were MADE IN USA. Please support American workers!

I'm surprised and amazed at how much I love these shoes. They fit as if they were made for me -- and after trying probably 100 different styles of flat and near-flat shoes this year, that is no small feat. I'm female and usually wear a 10-11 shoe, or a size 41 in most Euro shoes. In the Lems Primal 2, a 42 was perfect with a very light sock. These shoes have a slim profile and don't look as clunky as some zero-drop shoes -- my feet look almost dainty (or so I tell myself, LOL). I'm getting ready to try the Boulder Boot for winter and have high hopes it will provide the traction, warmth, and comfort I need.
