As far as I can tell the only difference between this model at  $135 (July 2019 price) and  the more expensive  $158 model is the price. But then I’ve only purchased the cheaper machine. I’ve bought four so far and I intend to get another soon. I use them in a very hot storage shed to bring the temperature down so the food freezers I have there will not wear out too quickly. They run all the time for nine months of the year and usually last several years. The first one I purchased was less than a hundred dollars as I recall but the price keeps going up. Still it ‘s cheaper to replace one than a freezer. It’s not much more in fact to replace it than get it serviced. I use one also in the upstairs room that houses my server, wifi router and other electronic devices and it seems to be running low on coolant and buying another one is not much more than a service call at the prices we have to pay now.

Will this fit in a sliding window?

I know this answer is a year late, but it might help someone else. We have the 15,100 BTU model and have sliding windows. The open window opening is 25” and the unit fit perfectly into it. You won’t be able to use the insulator kit supplied. We just bought a piece of rigid foam insulation and cut it to fit above the unit to the top of the window.
